Do you find yourself getting bored of the monotony of your workout routine? If you're like me you may find yourself being bored of your repetitions and workout. But you can change that. It's time to have fun with Spirit guidance.
Often times we get in a rigid schedule, which has its place, but when you find that you're not having fun and you feel like you're dreading your workout, then it's time to try something different, time to have a mindset change.
Turn your attention inward, ask the Spirit for help - to help you enjoy your workout, and be open to Spirit guidance. Go with the flow. Go with what you feel prompted to do. Take it one step at a time. Try not to focus on how long an hour will take to get through your workout. Let your focus remain in the present. You'll be surprised at how fast the time will go by.
You may find that you're inspired to add variation to a particular workout or change it completely. The whole point is to have fun as you're doing this. Each day you can look forward to working out and if you miss a day you'll find that you'll begin to miss it. Actually your body will be calling for it.
As you are enjoying the process, you'll find that you'll rid yourself of the inner resistance which will cause your body to respond better to your workout.
So you're working towards getting the results you want but you find it overwhelming or a bit confusing, so what do you do? Start with something small so you can become empowered from within. If this is something you're now learning to do, in order to get the hang of it, you need to begin with something that's not pressing on your mind as much.
Here's a simple exercise you can apply today.
If you find yourself getting frustrated at your work or at home, stop yourself and ask the Spirit for help and guidance. If you're looking for something and can't find it, ask the Spirit to help you and show you where it is.
Think of the different things you encounter during the day time and those issues that seem to get 'under your skin'. Here's the opportunity to turn within and become empowered from within by asking the Spirit for wisdom and direction to deal with the situation peacefully.
Practice looking within first.
I say 'practice' because if you've been accustomed to getting all upset about things first, you'd need to practice reminding yourself to calm down, look within and ask the Spirit for help until this becomes your new habitual mindset.
As you master this, you'll find that you'll begin to see your way much clearer and you'll know how to deal with much more complex issues and break them down each step until you find resolution.

For the most part, we know what we would like to do with our lives, what we would change or what we would do differently. But often times that`s where it remains; we`re left with the feeling of regret or even helplessness not knowing which way to go, what steps to take or know that we could actually get the results we desire.
So let`s look at how we can become empowered from within and go from desire to action to results. Let me share my story how I get the results I desire.
I used to become so flustered and frustrated when I couldn`t find something I was looking for. That emotional vibration opened the door for depression. Until one day I got to the point where I stopped and asked the Spirit to help me find whatever I needed.
I allowed my mind to be open as I listened closely within to the direction of the Spirit. Whatever inspired idea came to me I`d follow. I was guided to the place where the item was shortly after, easily and effortlessly,
Each time I got to the point of frustration, I`d feel that inner nudge that I should ask the Spirit for help and in a short space of time, the thing I needed would show up. Since then I`ve learned to transfer this to every area of my life and watch the answers I needed present themselves - some right away, others a few days.
What's the procedure here? Here are 4 steps to follow.
1) Release your frustration, disappointments, doubts and anything that's blocking your vision from seeing the next step you need to take.
2) Ask the Spirit for help and to show you what to do to get the results you desire.
3) Turn your attention inwardly and listen for the inner guidance/inspired idea from the Spirit. Keep your eyes open as you are guided to see through the eyes of the Spirit the direction you should take.
4) Follow the inspired action until you get the results you desire.
If you feel that you've asked but have not gotten a specific answer right away, wait, it will come. Also, ask for clarity if you're still unsure of what you should do.
Supposing you could start your life anew, right from where you are? It's never too late to have a fresh start. If you're willing to let go of yesterday's disappointments and free yourself from the valley of regrets, you can free your mind and your eyes to focus on a brighter more enriched life.
Here are 3 questions to get you started.
Question #1 - What would you do differently?
Look at your current experiences, what would you do differently that would give you different results? This could be different action steps you'd take or how you'd think differently about your situation. Look for ways to begin to do this today. Just don't think about and continue on in the old patterns but truly move forward in acting out your desire.
Question #2 - What would you change?
What would you like to change right now? You know that you are not limited by your circumstances. So look beyond the 'I can't' to the 'I can' and expect what you need to manifest itself to help you realize this change.
Question #3 - What would you begin to do?
What have you been putting off? What do you wish you could have started? Make a firm decision to implement action steps to do what you've always wanted to get done but never thought you could. In this determined mindset, doors will begin to open for you.
You can break this exercise down into different areas of your life - relationship, social, career etc. - and ask the same 3 questions in each area.
Decide what's most important to you and make your decisions based on importance. Choose to live your life fully and not with regrets - I wish I had done this or I wish I could have done that. Go for it. What do you have to lose?
As we continue our Easter celebration, today we honour the resurrection of Jesus Christ. For in it we recognize our own experience of new life and full potential. When we are willing to let go of the past, of the dead things that no longer serve us, we reserve room for new life to spring forth into expressions of abundance, peace, joy, love and freedom.
It is your God-given right to live free as the Spirit intended it to be - not bound by circumstances and limitations but free to break out of those things that hold you back, those things that weigh you down. Today is a glorious day; a day of new beginnings, a day to break free of all your shackles and rise to your full potential, victorious over all the obstacles in your life.
But how do you embrace this freedom so you can experience the fullness of life?
Separate yourself from your fears, release them and let them go.
Release limitations from your mind - move from 'I can't, it's difficult' to 'I can, it's easy and effortless'. Jesus overcame every obstacle, difficulty and seeming impossible situations, setting the stage for us to follow his example in our own lives.
You have the power in you
If you say that you don't have the power that Jesus had, I'd say, "Jesus' power came from the Spirit, the same Spirit that we live in, that moves through us and has our being; the same Spirit that gives life to all. So yes, you have the same power because you have the same Spirit. The difference is, are you willing to let go and let God fully occupy your life? Will you let go of all the debris that's keeping you hostage and blocking the free flow of Spirit's energy in your life?
These are the questions we each need to ask ourselves and take a closer look at what's holding us back to life fully. Jesus lived his life according to his purpose. It can be done. Your purpose may not be the same as his, but you have a purpose nevertheless and the Spirit is willing to help you carry out your mission in its fullness here on planet earth and beyond.
Allow the resurrection power to saturate your life through and through today and lift you up from where you are to where you should be. Happy Easter!
No matter how impossible your situation may seem right, no matter how strong your personal shackles may seem, you can break free, you can rise to a place of victory.
This Easter, take the example of Jesus' journey and let it become yours - though you feel your journey has led you through the pit of hell, through dark times, always know that Light is ready to shine on you and lift you up to a higher plane. No longer do you need to remain bound by circumstances. Arise with the strength of the Spirit and live in victory and freedom!
Today's Easter tunespiration comes from Newsong, Arise My Love
We recognize Good Friday as the remembrance of the death of Jesus Christ. And in honour of his sacrifice, we know that we can follow in his footsteps to a better life. But in order to enjoy the benefits of a new life, we are called to lay aside the things that no longer serve us, that no longer cause us to grow and move us forward into an enlightened life.
A prudent gardener removes the dead leaves and branches from his trees so they can flourish abundantly and bear more fruit. So too, we must remove the 'dead leaves and branches' in our lives that take up room, weigh us down and hinder us from experiencing an enriching abundant life.
Take a look at your own life right now. What's hindering you from living a flourishing life? What things, people, places do you need to lay aside, let go of so you can break free in your life? Ask the Spirit to show you. What thoughts do you need to get rid of that's sabotaging your progress? What habits do you need to give up so you can move to the next level?
Think of these questions. And as you go through this Good Friday, mark this day as the day you lay aside all these things to embrace a higher life. Let this experience be real for you as it was for Jesus Christ and your sacrifice will not only save you but save the life of others you come in contact with and light their path.
Feeling 'not good enough' has been practiced on a regular basis, whether or not you were conscious of what you were doing, until it became a belief and habitual feeling. Now it's time to undo the process so you can adapt to the new mindset of feeling 'good enough'.
Follow these 3 daily action steps and make them a part of your habitual state of being.
Daily Action Step #1
With conviction, say out loud, "I'm good enough. I can be whoever I choose to be."
Daily Action Step #2
Feel your connection to the Universal Energy and Wisdom. Accept your oneness with the Great Universal Spirit.
Daily Action Step #3
In the area of your life you feel you're not good enough, transform that energy into the feelings of 'good enough' and move forward in this positive energy to achieve your goal. E.g. if you're feeling not 'good enough' in a professional area of your life, repeat steps 1 and 2 and take progressive action toward fulfillment of your goal.
The Universal Energy and Wisdom is available for all, not just for a chosen few. However, you must make the connection in order to benefit from this vast pool of life. When you are conscious about your connection to the Spirit that gives life to all there’s no way that you can feel inferior and not good enough. Because the same life energy that flows through others flows through you as well.
How to connect to the Universal Energy and Wisdom
#1 - Be consciously aware of your connection
Being consciously aware that you are connected to the Universal Energy and Wisdom causes you to think about yourself differently. This awareness causes you to feel empowered from within so you can overcome the 'I'm not good enough' feeling. In this awareness how can you feel small, that you're not good enough?
#2 - Fill your eyes with the strength of the Spirit
When you see yourself drawing strength and wisdom from the Spirit you will continue to move in the direction of being good enough. Whatever you focus on, you will move towards, and as you move towards 'I'm good enough' through the eyes of the Spirit, you'll experience that too.
#3 - Create and use affirmations to transform your mind
All wisdom and knowledge is available to me and I can tap into and draw out whatever I need to enhance my life and live my life to the fullest.
As you use your affirmations, you'll affirm and feel the connection to the universal energy and wisdom flowing through you. You become a channel to receive what you need as your mind is transformed each day to accept the truth of who you are.
Feelings of I'm not good enough' can really put you into a state of depression when you attempt to move forward toward any goal. Like thoughts attract similar thoughts that influence your emotions. As you allow this negative vibration to continue to linger in your mind and body, it can sabotage your progress.
So let's look at the following steps to shift your thinking to overcome the 'I'm not good enough' feeling.
Step #1 - Identify the area of the 'I'm not good enough' feeling
What area of your life do you find that you're experiencing the 'I'm not good enough' feeling? What area do you feel this the strongest? By identifying this area you can better zoom in to closely examine the reason behind the feeling and find solutions for resolution.
Step #2 - Make a conscious decision to shift your thinking
Once you've identified this area, make a conscious decision to shift your thinking to 'I'm good enough' just as anyone else. You're not being arrogant here. You're affirming to yourself something that's positive that will influence you in a positive way instead of negative.
Conscious decision-making also gets your mind in gear to accept the change and more you forward in that direction. Remember, the key for effectiveness is to daily reaffirm your decision until it becomes a habit.
Step #3 - Focus on your potential
If you lived to your full potential, what would that look like? What would 'being good enough' look like to you? Once you can visualize that, see that as being you. Focus on this as your full potential until you become one with it, until you own it.
Step #4 - Meditate
Meditate on the following statement:
"My current condition does not define my worth. These conditions are subject to change. They're not permanent. "
Think about this statement as often as possible until it sinks into the soil of your subconscious mind to begin the reprogramming process. Remind yourself of it daily. Sometimes we tend to return to the old way of thinking.
When we look at our current circumstances and see no change depression may set in and the old 'I'm not good enough' feeling returns. Shift your thinking back to 'I'm good enough' and continue to practice over and over.
When you’re overcome by the feeling of ‘I’m not good enough’,
you find that you’re in a limited vibration which hinders any positive progress
in your life. It opens the door for fear to stop you from moving forward into
success in any area of your life because you don’t feel like you’re good enough
to achieve anything worthwhile.
Whether this feeling stems from childhood experiences
through parents, society or peers, you don’t have to succumb to it.
Here are 3 mindsets you can adapt to overcome the feeling of
‘I’m not good enough’.
Mindset #1 – Shift your thinking to ‘I’m good enough’ just
as anybody else
Don’t allow the physical condition to define your worth.
These conditions are subject to change, they’re not permanent. You can get a
tutor or coach to help you in what area you feel lack in or find other information
at your disposal to help you. Use visualization to see yourself as being good
Mindset #2 – I’m connected to the Universal Energy and
All wisdom and knowledge is available to me and I can tap
into and draw out whatever I need to enhance my life and live my life to the
When you are conscious about your connection to the Spirit
that gives life to all there’s no way that you can feel inferior and not good
enough. Because the same life energy that flows through others flows through
you as well.
Mindset #3 – I can be whoever I choose to be
There’s no limit to who you can be and what you can do. It’s
all in the shifting of your thinking to seeing yourself in a different light.
If you begin to see yourself with unlimited potential then you will begin to go
in that direction. The feeling of succeeding at all you do will become yours and
you’ll grow in confidence as you step out of your comfort zone into achieving
Practicing the above mindsets each day will begin to
influence the way you feel about yourself. As your thoughts become more focused
on I’m good enough, your subconscious mind will be reprogrammed and produce
more positive results in your life.
“Discover how you can take control of your mind and your life to Overcome Inferiority Complex and finally break free from what’s holding you back from really living your life...”
What we fill our eyes and minds with manifest in our reality. What we're affirming to ourselves each day also manifests in our experience. When you think about losing weight, what images flash through your mind about the way you look, about your ability to lose weight and exercise enjoyment. Examine what your thoughts are to see which ones are counterproductive to your journey.
Check out this video for some affirmations you can use to help you create your own. Think about the images and create your own image that best suits you.
When you listen to the Spirit and follow Spirit guidance, empowered actions follow because you take strategic and exact steps leading you on the right path for you. Up until now you may have been taking action but still you find yourself confused and lost. It's time to use your time and energy wisely and effectively by taking empowered action steps from the Spirit.
Here are 3 action steps you can use right now.
Action Step #1 - Ask the Spirit for wisdom
When you ask for wisdom you are opening yourself for Spirit guidance. What you're actually saying is that you are not relying on your limitations or limited knowledge to resolve your situation. You are connected to the universal pool of knowledge to empower you from within.
Action Step #2 - Allow yourself to be directed by the Spirit
The Spirit is always ready and willing to help us, and in order to do so we must be willing to be directed. Listen for the next step you need to take, it will be shown to you. Keep your eyes and ears open for what comes next.
Action Step #3 - Put aside confusion
If you're feeling confused or overwhelmed and you're not sure which way to go, stop, release the confusion, center your mind on the peace within, relax and listen to your inner feelings and follow the inner guidance closely.
As you use these action steps, you'll find that life becomes easier and therefore less stressful as you cease to figure things out all on your own. It will save you a lot of wasted mental and physical energy which drains your life energy. You'll find that what you're looking for comes to you or unfolds effortlessly.
Where you find that you may have been trying to pull and tug on the doors of your answers to open, you'll find that they open with ease or you'll simply look and see the answer that's been hidden in plain sight all along. If you find that you've been taking action and you're getting nowhere, try these action steps to help you out of your personal maze.
The Unlimited Universal Supply provides for the sustenance of all of us - whether its human, animal, plant etc. - there's more than enough for us all to live completely satisfied lives. If this is so then why do we struggle so much? Why then does it seem like there's so much lack and insufficiency?
The answer lies in the way we see things, our perspective. What we fill our 'eyes' with, what we see, what we focus on materializes in our lives. So if we focus on the 'not enoughness' in our lives, our lack, then we move in that direction.
How then do we 'drink' from the unlimited supply that all our needs are met? Here are 5 mindsets to develop.
Mindset #1 - Conscious awareness of the Unlimited Universal Supply
Even though we may already be aware of the Unlimited Universal Supply, many times we tend to neglect this knowledge and shift our focus back to our limitations and insufficiencies. This mindset blocks us from experiencing this unlimited supply being experienced in our lives.
Mindset #2 - Conscious awareness of your oneness with the Unlimited Universal Supply
When we are consciously aware of our oneness with the Unlimited Universal Supply we feel empowered from within. Our focus is not on what we can't do or can't have or on the impossible, but on what we see that's possible for us through the power of the Spirit. This is quite liberating. We see our connectedness to the Supply and flow that constantly moves in and through us.
Mindset #3 - Conscious awareness that all you need has already been provided
Because we know that we are connected to the Universal Supply, everything we need is already available for us and for our usage. Expect that the supply will manifest itself. Know that it will show up at the right time and keep an eye out for its arrival. Steer clear of the debris of doubt so that is does not block the path of your provision.
Mindset #4 - Conscious awareness that you can never exhaust the Universal Supply
You don't have to be concerned about exhausting this supply. It is never ending no matter how many of us drink from its fountain. More will be provided to sustain and meet the demand. The only shortage is in our own minds.
Mindset #5 - Think Big
It's time to revive those dreams you've neglected because you thought they were too grand for you or because you feel that you couldn't ever realize them. Think big and allow the Unlimited Supply to bring the tools, the people, the conditions you need for your dreams fulfillment. Look to the Unlimited Supply instead of consulting with your limitations. See your dream manifest through the eyes of faith. Your dream, no matter how grand you think it is, is still small and as a drop in the bucket when you consider the scope of all things.
Are you feeling like you've lost your way, that you need to get back on track but you don't know which way to go? The path you need to take is always there but often times we don't see it because our eyes are covered over with limitations, disbelief and any kind of negativity.
Life with the Spirit is not complicated at all. We usually make things more difficult than it needs to be. So here are 5 simple steps to use to help you get back on track.
Key #1 - Ask the Spirit for help
Though simple, this step is many times forgotten. We go off trying to do things on our own and until we reach a roadblock and face tremendous frustration that's when we remember to ask the Spirit for help, if we ever ask at all. If you ask, you will receive. It is when we neglect this step that we continue to lose our way and get deeper into confusion.
Key #2 - Follow the Spirit guidance
You may not get the entire solution to your problem right away but what you do get is enough to put you in the right direction. Begin with the first step and you'll see your way to take the second, then the third and so on. Follow the Spirit guidance each step of the way until you find your way on the right track.
Key #3 - Relax
In order to hear clearly what the Spirit has to say to you, you need to relax, let go and allow the inspiration to come or unfold naturally and effortlessly. When you find yourself feeling so frustrated and angry about your situation, release this negative energy which blocks out the voice of the Spirit.
Key #4 - Trust the Spirit to guide you
Ask yourself the questions, "Do you trust the Spirit to guide you? Do you really believe that the Spirit has the right answer for you?" Even more so, "Do you believe that you can hear from the Spirit and get the wisdom you need to resolve your situation?" Only you can answer the trust question.
Key #5 - Take empowered actions
When you listen to the Spirit and follow Spirit guidance empowered actions follow because you take strategic and exact steps leading you on the right path for you. Up until now you may have been taking action but still you find yourself confused and lost. It's time to use your time and energy wisely and effectively by taking empowered action steps from the Spirit.
All we need for our journey here on earth has already been
provided. Our faith in that provision unlocks the door for its release. Our supply
continues to flow in accordance to our usage and our belief that what we need
will manifest itself at the right time.
Little usage produces small flow and just enough. Large
usage produces large flow and more than enough. Let’s use a practical example. A baby comes to earth with
all the provision needed. If baby decides not to drink the mother’s milk that
does not immediately stop the supply. However the flow reduces and finally ceases
as the need diminishes. If used, the flow continues to increase to supply the
When you only use a little from the eternal supply you get
only what you choose to receive. If you decide to think small, dream small, you
get what you ask for. If you decide to dream big, then you’re opening the door
for greater things to enter your life.
Focus your attention on what is needed. Ask for your eyes to
be opened to see your supply. Just as babies have clues to recognize the milk supply,
we also have clues left for us to recognize the location of our supply as well.
What if you get lost along the way or lose your sense of ‘smell’
to know which way to go?
There’s always help when we call and ask the Spirit. As the
mother guides the baby to the nipple to suckle, so too the Spirit guides us to ‘suckle’
in order to satisfy our desire and meet every need. Relax and trust the Spirit
to guide you.
The Holy Spirit is our Mother, cares for us and ensures that
we receive all the nourishment we need for our sustenance, enjoyment and
fulfillment of our purpose here on earth. Mother Spirit will guide us as we ask.
We will be shown the way we should go and the actions we should take in order for
us to realize our dreams.
Are you drinking from the unlimited supply?
It is not a normal procedure for a child to drink only a
little milk and remain hungry when the supply is unlimited. A parent becomes
very concerned if the child is not drinking enough to satisfaction and looks
for ways to encourage the child to eat more.
Our Mother Creator encourages us to keep drinking from the
eternal supply and not leave ourselves dissatisfied and hungry when the supply
We limit ourselves in our thinking by asking too small or
taking and accepting only a little. If a child is not satisfied with the amount
of milk he/she has received, she searches for more and cries out to indicate
that she’s not had enough. He does not say, “Oh well, I’ll save some for next
time. He drinks to his little heart and stomach’s content.
Often times we accept a false sense of satisfaction where we
only get little without demanding of life what we truly desire to have.
When we continue to spend time in silent communication with
the Spirit, our faith and confidence in Spirit guidance will continue to grow,
just as a mother and child bond grows as they spend time with each other. The
child is assured of her mother’s love and provision for her and trusts her
mother’s nurturing care.
Trust the Spirit to supply what you need at every step of
your journey. Release all debris of fear, worry and doubt. Ask for what you
need, expect the manifestation of the supply and rest assured that all is well.
Feeling like your life is too far gone and wish you could have a second chance? Do you know someone who's at their rope's end and need a second chance at life? No matter how bad you think your situation is, there's always a way out. God is a God of second chances. You can live a fulfilled life no matter where you are or how far you've gone.
Today's tunespiration comes from R. Kelly - U Saved Me.
Have you accepted a negative report that now defines your health status? Or have you accepted the belief of your family history of being overweight as your own? Your belief in a thing can either help you or keep you bound to conditions as they are. You can choose to accept these negative reports as your own or you can choose to redefine the outcome of your health and ideal weight.
Who are you going to believe? Are you going to believe that your family's health and weight history will be your reality as well? Or are you going to choose your own path and experience a healthy lifestyle?
Here are 3 steps you can choose to change your belief.
Step #1 - Examine your belief about your health and weight
What belief have you embraced as your own that's hindering you from breaking free in your health and weight? By identifying the beliefs that's affecting your life you can begin to deal with and eliminate them.
Step #2 - Sow a new thought seed
You may have accepted the negative belief for a long time and the root of that belief may have gone really deep into your subconscious. Now is the time to mentally uproot it and replace it with new thought seeds of health and wellness. How can you do this? Consciously choose to release the belief of your illness and choose to replace it with the seed of health and wellness.
Step #3 - Nurture the new thought seed
For years you've nurtured the seed, then the tree of a negative health report sprung up. You've accepted it as your own. Now it's time to disown it and begin to daily nurture the thought seed of perfect health and ideal weight.
Begin to confess each day, affirm and declare to yourself and to your body that you are whole. Your faith, your belief in your wellness, has made you perfectly whole. As you continue to do this, taking your wholeness into your own hands, embracing it into your subconscious, your body will respond to this nurturing process transforming each cell into manifesting perfect health.
If you're constantly following the status quo, doing what everybody's doing, then you'll also be getting the same results as everyone else, and not getting what you truly desire. If you want something different from the crowd, you'll have to do things differently.
So how exactly do you go against the status quo to get what you want?
Action Step #1 - What are you struggling with?
Identify the area you're struggling with. What area of your life do you want to experience change but everyone around you is saying that's the way it is - they've come to accept this struggle as being normal.
For most of my life I've heard that childbirth is painful. The scenes on movies depict a painful but rewarding experience. Even with my other pregnancies, I've gone through accepting that pain is a normal part of the birthing process.
Action Step #2 - What would you like to experience differently?
Examine your lifestyle pattern in this area. How could things be different for you in spite of the 'norm'? Do you believe that there's another way to experience life other than what you're experiencing?
I discovered later on, after my 7th child, that I can have a painless natural childbirth and not with the use of drugs to numb my body either. I wanted this experience and I believed that it was possible for me. Your belief in a thing makes it possible for you even if you are not consciously aware of how to get it done at the moment.
Action Step #3 - What's the results you want?
What would your new experience be like? Use your imagination to create the new experience. What would it feel like? How are you thinking differently? What are your actions steps?
When you decide to move away from what is called the norm, even though you find yourself struggling with it, you'll find that you can discover an easier, more painless way of doing things and experiencing life. What you once thought as being normal may not necessarily be normal at all.
Action Step #4 - What material can you get on the subject?
Has anyone ever experienced what you'd like to experience? What methods did they use? How can you use this information for your benefit?
I used the material I got from my midwife to become more knowledgeable on the subject of a painless childbirth. This information gave me a good foundation to work with and build on to manifest the desire I had. I had the tools necessary and so I was ready.
Action Step #5 - What does your inner guidance say to you?
Even though you read other people's experiences, which is great, inspirational and motivational, remember that you are unique and your situation is unique to your personality. Follow the inner promptings and wisdom of the Spirit to direct you in the application of the information and also give you new insight when needed.
As I followed the guidance of the Spirit I was able to effectively apply the information and gain some new insight and techniques to help me.
Once you decide that you're going to have what you want and that you're not going to just go with what's the norm, the path you need to take will be shown to you and the help you need, will be available to you.
Just remember, not everyone's going to agree with you and that's okay because it's not their dream. But you can be an inspiration and light to those whose desires are the same as yours.
Many of our beliefs and programming came from our family, friends and society. We accept these beliefs as our own - whether or not they are actually true. And because we accept them as part of our own belief system, they become true for us and in many ways hinder us from truly living.
And so it is with our own birthing experiences. We've been taught that birthing contractions are painful and because we think of them as being painful we become fearful of them. This fear causes our bodies to resist the pain and as a result we experience more pain.
The movies also promote this type of thinking making it difficult to have another view point regarding childbirth.
After having 7 children, I really wanted to have a different birthing experience with my 8th. We had 6 girls and 1 boy and I wanted to give my girls a difference experience - something that they'd remember when they got older - a gift of passage - that's what I called it, my terminology for a painless childbirth.
A friend told me that his wife had a painless childbirth and I was fascinated with the entire concept. I asked my midwife if she had any reading material on the subject. I read through the book she loaned me and found the material very enlightening, empowering and a confirmation of many things I've come to believe from to my own childbirth experiences.
Here are the 3 major keys I used that gave me a truly miraculous birthing experience.
Key #1 - Relaxation
One of the key things I've come to learn is that a woman's uterus is a muscle and that with all muscles you need to relax them. When we become fearful, we tend to tense up and as a result we experience more pain.
Key #2 - Deep breathing
When we give our muscles enough oxygen they work for us and not against us. This is the major key to a painless childbirth and it makes the difference between experiencing pain and having a miraculous birthing experience. Deep breathing feeds the muscles with oxygen and puts them in a state of relaxation so they can work effectively.
Let's use this example. If you're riding a horse and you're not in sync with the horse, moving with the horse, you're sure to experience a bumpy ride. But if you moved with the horse, relaxing with it, you'll find your ride more pleasurable.
The same goes with each contraction. You need to work with each wave of contraction. Give the muscles in the uterus what it needs - relaxation and oxygen - and it will do what it was meant to do, naturally. Ride with each wave, totally relaxing and breathing.
You do feel the contractions, but instead of pain, you feel like you're riding the contraction waves. As the contractions get stronger, like waves getting higher, they require more relaxation and deeper and stronger breath.
Key # 3 - Listen to the inner guidance
With each level of contraction strength, as I listened to the inner coaching of the Spirit, I kept hearing, "Relax, relax, breathe deep, work with the muscle. Relax even more, let it go, give the muscles what they need."
It's one thing to have head knowledge but it's another thing to make the application of the information to get the results you desire. Listening to the inner guidance of the Spirit gives you the wisdom you need to effectively apply what you need to the situation and as things change you're able to move with the change and not get lost wondering what to do next because the book never mentioned what to do if that particular situation arose.
I really wished I had known this for my other pregnancies. But the thing is when we make a decision to stop going with the crowd and popular beliefs and decide to experience something different, the Universe will work on our behalf to help us manifest our desires. It's truly amazing what we could accomplish when we decide not to settle for less.
Take the time to know yourself, be relaxed with your body and be open to what the Spirit has to offer.

Have you allowed your fear to grip you to the point of making a situation worse than it really is? Fear has a way of creating more monsters in the closet than what's truly there.
As I came closer to my due date for having my baby and realized that any day now I'd be in labor, I felt my fear of the intense labor contractions becoming more overwhelming. I could literally feel the fear in my skin, all over me. The time had come to face my fear, to look it straight in the eye and deal with it.
Here are 5 mindsets I used to overcome my fear of labor contractions and which you can use to overcome any fear you face.
Mindset #1 - Face the fear
I needed to face my fear and acknowledge what I was feeling. When you try to ignore what's going on, it's like sweeping the dust beneath the rug. You're not dealing with it and as a result it continues to influence your life. Uncovering a fear sheds light on it and brings it out into the open.
Mindset #2 - Acknowledge and release the fear
Acknowledging the existence of what is - that you're afraid - you're positioning yourself for the next step, which is to release the fear. You cannot release something that you have not recognized or are willing to admit exists. Visualize the fear leaving your body as you let it go out of your life.
Mindset #3 - Ask the Spirit for help
When I realized that I was being overcome by my own fears, that I wasn't sure how I was going to be able to handle the intense contraction waves without feeling like I was losing it, I asked the Spirit for help to lift me up over my fear.
The act of asking the Spirit for help opens the door for Divine power to empower you from within and uncovers your inner strength that was initially buried beneath the fear.
Mindset #4 - Replace fear with courage
Once I had released my fear, I knew I needed to sow a new thought seed in its place. I invited courage and strength to go through the birthing process.
By replacing fear with courage, your mental perspective regarding the situation you're facing changes. You no longer see your situation as one that you cannot overcome but you see yourself as being greater than your circumstance and that you can and will find a way through this.
Mindset #5 - Encourage yourself
One of the things that I found helpful was to affirm that I must go through this and that here I was on this side of the bridge and in a few days I'd be on the other side holding my baby in my hands. I knew that this too will pass. I encouraged myself, "I can do this."
Be your own cheerleader. Encourage yourself through to the finish line.
Whether your fear is fear of labor contractions, fear of failure or whatever it is, take courage, face the fear, use the above mindsets and walk on through onto a victorious outcome.
Today I hold my baby in my hands, appreciative and thankful for the miraculous birthing experience I had. Now I'm on the other side of the bridge. I did it and so can you.
Meet our newest family member, Josianna Roxanna Josettelee, born at home on Wednesday March 23. She weighed 7lbs 6oz and is baby #8.
I want to thank everyone who supported us during this joyful and exciting time as we welcome our little princess to her family.
This has been a remarkable and empowering birthing experience for my family and I. After having 7 children, I wanted to experience something different especially when it came to managing the intense waves of contractions as they came on. With each birth I found that when I came to that point I felt that I couldn't go on anymore. If you've given birth, you may have had a similar experience.
Someone once shared with me that their wife had a painless childbirth and I wanted to have this experience. One of the things I encountered was I found myself having to come face to face with my own fears - the fear of the intense contraction waves. This week I want to share how I overcame my fear and also some of what I did to experience a painless child birth and the lessons learned during this time.
I believe that whether or not you've given birth, you'll be able to glean some useful information to help you achieve your own personal goals and overcome your fears so you can ride the waves of whatever overwhelming situation you may face.
Look out tomorrow as we discuss what I did to overcome my fear.
No matter how down you may feel right now, you are not alone. The Spirit is with you always. Just remember that this too will pass. Here's a powerful quote from Laura Lester Fournier -
Impermanence is THE constant reality. Nothing lasts forever - no emotion, no thought, no material manifestation, no physical body.....nothing. Nothing that is, except for your Eternal Life. This is the great dichotomy! Dwell on that which is positive today. Be present in this moment, it is a gift, and you are alive.

Have you ever heard the saying, "Get your head in the game?" In order for you to get effective results in your workout routine you need to 'get your head in the game'. You need to be there mentally as you apply the power of concentration.
Here are 3 tips to use the power of concentration to enhance your workout
Tip #1 - Isolate the muscles you're working on
Think of the area you're working on and focus on the muscles in that area. For example, if you're strengthening the biceps, focus on these muscles as you work them. Concentrate on the movement. Don't just go through the repetitions. Focus on contracting those muscles as hard as you can.
Tip #2 - Use visualization
As you contract the muscles, visualize them becoming firmer and stronger as you work them. Get your emotions involved as well. Bring all of your attention to this process. You are using more than just the physical body to get you the results you want. You are also drawing in the universal energy to aid you.
Tip # 3 - Focus on your breathing
Inhale deeply, drawing in life-energy. Empower every cell within your body allowing them to be refreshed and energized with every cleansing breath. Exhale, releasing all of the toxins and negative energy from your body.
You'll find that you'll benefit a whole lot more from your workout routine when you are present and not drifted off somewhere else as your body does the work. Think of how much more power you're drawing into you as you 'get your head in the game' and engage in your workout routine.
