Change your Life in 2010 - 5 Steps to Release the Past Negative Experiences and Change your Life in 2010

Releasing the negative experiences of the past elevates you to a higher level of living. Whatever regrets you have of the past, whatever the hurt, whatever the disappointment, it's time to release it and move on. But exactly how do you release the past? How do you let go of pain that goes deep within? How do you rise up above the disappointments, the failures, the fears so you could move on?

These 5 steps give you some guidelines to rise you up over the negative experiences of the past.

1) Decision

For every situation you ever change or will change in your life you start with a decision. You decide if you will continue to allow the negative past experiences to dictate how you currently choose to feel. Or you will take control of your decisions and decide that you are master over your emotions. Once you make that decision, the next step allows you to shape your mindset.

2) Conscious letting go

"I release these negative feelings from my mind and my heart and I choose to embrace feelings of love, joy and peace." When you make a conscious decision to release and let go of the negativity of the past you're sending positive energy through your body that positions you to attract more positive emotions.

3) Shift the mental thinking

Find the positive in the situation and focus on it. Shift your mental thinking from the past negative experience and look for the positive. Every cloud has a silver lining. No matter how dark the cloud may be there's always a positive. Ask within, "What's the lesson here? What good could come out of this?" And expect it, even if you may not see it at the moment.

4) Practice

A baby learns to walk by practicing over and over again until she learns to walk without falling. If you've taken up a new craft, like knitting or anything else, it will take regular practice until you become better at it. Remember, if your habitual way of thinking is to focus on the negative or look at things from a negative perspective, it will take regular practice and determination to create the new way of looking for the positive in every situation.

5) Live in the now

Whether it's 5 minutes or 5 years, whatever your negative experience, it is in the past. Many times we have difficulty differentiating between the two, the past and the current. We bring the past negative emotion into the present and relive it over and over even though the actual situation that caused the negative emotion in the first place no longer exists.

One way of dealing with these emotions is to say, "This is not happening to me right now. It is the past. I choose to release it, look for the positive and move on." Sometimes I may experience emotions that are more difficult to let go.

If you've ever had the emotions that overwhelm you to the point that you feel that you're not able to shake them right away these are the steps I take to rise up over them.

1) I look at the feeling.
2) I acknowledge how I'm feeling - sad, frustrated, mad etc.
3) I say what I'm mad, sad or frustrated about, giving the emotion an outlet to release.
4) I consciously make the mental shift to look at my situation from a positive angle.
5) I allow myself to feel the positive emotion.
6) If I find I can't release them, I look within to the Spirit and ask for help, "Please help me rise up above this emotion." We are not without help when we feel helpless or overwhelmed. We connect to the Source of our power and are uplifted to a higher place.

You have the tools you need to begin to release and let go of the negative experiences of the past and transform your life from the inside out in 2010.

Change your life in 2010 - 5 Reasons why you should release past negative experiences

We've come to the end of another year. Whatever regrets you have of the past, whatever the hurt, whatever the disappointment, it's time to release it and move on. But why should you release the past negative experiences? Why should you let go? These 5 reasons will show you why releasing negative experiences is essential to change your life.

1) The past becomes the fabric of tomorrow's lifestyle

By holding on to your past hurts and disappointments, you are allowing the thoughts of the past experiences to create your lifestyle tomorrow. They influence your emotional well-being and therefore manifest in your reality as recreated events from past experiences.

2) The past weighs you down

Holding on to past negative experiences weigh you down emotionally, so you're not free to move on from the negative experience. It slowly eats away at you from the core, defiles your inner sanctuary and removes you from a place of inner peace.

3) Experience the new

When you release the past negative experiences, you free yourself to engage in new positive experiences. You are therefore not mentally preoccupying your time with things that don't add value to your life. But you can now use your imagination, thoughts and emotions to attract to you enriching life experiences.

4) Shift into positive emotional gear

Negative situations tend to bring along with them negative emotions. However, if you release the negative emotion, you'll shift into the positive emotional gear of joy and peace and intentionally stir up these feeling. This positive emotional energy field draws into you more of the positive experiences causing the negativity to lose its hold on you.

5) Learn from past negative experiences

For every experience we ever encounter, whether we perceive the experience as positive or not, contains a valuable life lesson. The window through which we view these experiences will determine if the outcome leaves a positive or negative impact on our lives.

Let 2010 be the year that you take your negative experiences of 2009 and turn them into stepping stones to change and enhance your life.

The Perfect Christmas Tree - Never Give Up!

I wish for you and your family a very Merry Christmas. I hope that I've been an inspiration to you this past year and I look forward to being a blessing to you and inspire you to change from the inside out in the coming New Year.

Recently my husband and the older children went out to cut down a Christmas tree. They kept searching and searching for the perfect tree, some were either too tall or too short or the branches were too sparsely ordered or scraggly looking. They soon became discouraged and were about to give up when they found the perfect tree shaded beneath some taller pine trees.

This tree now sits fully decorated in our living room bringing joy to our children this season.

It is so too in life that if we allow discouragement to set in, even though we may be so close to our goal, we could miss out the enjoyment reward for all our searching and working towards achieving our goals.

This Christmas, let us enjoy the season but keep our eyes focus on what we've set out to achieve until we have found our 'perfect Christmas tree', the achievement of our goals.

Merry Christmas to you and yours.

7 Life-changing experiences of 2009

What life-changing experiences do you recall in 2009? Did you achieve all your goals? Were your experiences positive ones or did you see the positive in your situation?

Here are 7 of me and my family's life-changing experiences of 2009.

1) A new addition to the family

January - Roxella, our 7th baby was born. We had an amazing home birth which was an exciting time to welcome our new baby girl.

I'm so thankful that this time, out of 7 births, I was not induced. My labour came on naturally - my 2009 miracle experience. This is something I had prayed for and set my mind and intention to go through this all natural in spite of my past track record of being induced. Once you set your heart and mind to achieve your goal, the universe - God, will work everything in order to bring you what you desire.

Roxella came right out into my husband's hands. This experience is one that we would truly cherish as a precious memory.

2) Grew a home vegetable and flower garden

For the first time, our family succeeded in growing a vegetable and flower garden. This experience I've shared with you during the spring, summer and fall months and I've shared the invaluable lessons learned along the way. We've seen life and nature from a different viewpoint and the lessons they taught us are so applicable and transferable to many areas of our lives.

Want to have hands on, step-by-step tutoring to change your life? Try growing a garden and pay attention to these rich life-changing lessons. Your life will never be the same again.

3) Changed my workout and eating habits

My work habits changed tremendously. I've incorporated gardening into my workout routine which gave me amazing results. We also cut out red meat from our diet and are continuing to make more healthy eating decisions. With the harvest from our garden, this made the transition a bit easier for us.

4) Changed my hibernating ways

I've got to admit, I've always hibernated when the winters came in. Unless I had to go outdoors, I'd stay inside. This year I decided that I'm going to change the way I looked at things regarding the winter. I know that I could regulate my body temperature by a simple method of just changing the way I thought about it which makes a big difference in any one's enjoyment of an activity. The way we think really does define the way we experience life.

I kept up my walking even through the snow days and on those snowy days I shovelled the snow as well as jogged. The workout I get from shovelling really gives me an all over body workout. Don't forget to bend your knees so you don't hurt your back.

5) Completed eBooks

My husband, 3 eldest daughters and I completed our eBooks. This life-changing experience has set the stage for many more exciting opportunities for 2010.

6) Did something new

My husband embarked on a new journey of creativity. He built his first picnic bench and gazebo providing us with added shade for the hot summer and a good hang out spot where I could continue my work and the children do their art work and craft. He also built a desk from scratch with seating for 6.

7) Shared Thanksgiving with a friend

Before our friend and neighbour died, he was invited over to our house for Thanksgiving dinner. Little did we know it would have been our last time spent together. My husband felt the strong urge to invite him for dinner and today we are so thankful we had the opportunity to open our home to him for the last time.

I'm so thankful and appreciate you my readers and I wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas and all the best for the New Year. You may not have achieved all the things you wanted to in 2009, but today is a new day. And you can begin again right now and allow your tomorrows to be filled with the fruit of your thoughts today.

I look forward to sharing more inspiring thoughts, insights, tips and steps to changing your life from the inside out.

Feel free to add a comment about your 2009 experiences.

Creating Unconditional Miracles -Taking Control

Approximately 10 years ago, on a freezing July night, the cold, hard, truth hit me like a freight train.

On our bedroom floor, my wife was giving birth to our son, he'd come so quickly that we had just called the hospital to tell them we were on our way. But we never made it out of the house.

The complication was he was breech, and when he had come out to his shoulders, the contractions stopped and he stopped coming. My wife and I stayed calm, but for all my trying I just could not get his head out.

While this was happening my sister had called an ambulance, but we were stuck in this position for about 15 minutes before they arrived and were able to fully deliver him.

What I didn't realize was that the umbilical cord was obstructed and our baby was suffering asphyxiation. When he was finally born our boy was blue, and his heart rate was 40 beats per minute when it should have been 140 beats per minute.

As the paramedics worked on our son, pumping oxygen into his lungs, with a hand pump, I went outside to talk to God.

I'd been studying faith at a local church for a while, and had achieved some small successes. One of the scriptures that has always impressed on me the most was Mark 11:24 "Whosoever shall say unto this mountain, be though removed and be though cast into the sea, and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he says shall come to pass. He shall have whatsoever he says."

This scripture told me I had to take responsibility in the situation, and not wait for something to happen, but make something happen.

I felt strength flow through me as I reminded God what this scripture said. I told God that I was not going to ask for anything but that I was going to take control of the situation.

I had a strong belief that parents are supposed to protect their children, not just naturally but spiritually as well.

I also could not accept the idea that a child would be born just to die ten minutes later.

After my conversation with God I felt fearless and determined. When I went back into the house the main paramedic pulled me aside and asked me if he could have a word with me. With a grim look on his face and a professional tone in his voice he told me, "I don't think the little blokes gonna make it."

This was a defining moment, I refused to become afraid and accept his opinion!

Looking directly into his eyes I replied "No he is going to be fine." I know I must have had a look that said I meant business, because the paramedic backed off immediately with a quick reply "Yer Okay".

It's amazing how quickly people will change their mind and come into agreement with you when you are clear and absolute about something.

Upon entering the hospital I repeated with conviction "No he's going to make it, He's gonna be just fine," to any one that spoke to me.

As I stood back and watched Doctors and Nurses buzzing around my son in a hive of activity, things became surreal.

A smiling woman in a white coat approached, "You know when they called in, I thought they'd be bringing in a dead baby, but it's a miracle, they've done a great job, he's looking good."

Of course our baby did survive.

But the next day he was placed in intensive care. At a meeting with the head of intensive care, the Doctor explained to us that our baby was "fitting" and this was most likely because he would have suffered brain damage and organ damage due to the lack of oxygen he received during birth. At this point, once again I reassured the Doctor, "No, don't worry, he's going to be just fine." Because of what we had just been through, I thought there's no way I'm going to start backing off now.

About this time we were interviewed by the hospital psychologist, to see how we were handling the fact our baby would be severely handicapped. After the meeting my wife sneaked a peek at the psychologist's clipboard and notes. Among other things, my wife noticed the statement "This couple is not prepared for failure." It was not written as a positive statement, but I found it incredibly empowering.

The ward is divided into ten sections. Section one for the sickest babies and our son was in this section. Some babies are in section one for months and some never get well. However, within two days our son was in section three and in three days he was in section nine. Within another three days we were taking him home in absolutely perfect condition.

Since that time I have pushed myself to learn as much as possible about this incredible power that saved my son's life.

What I have learnt I have applied to many different areas of my life, I have used this power to transform my near bankrupt, failing business into a thriving prosperous company that has allowed me an income that has totally changed my lifestyle.

I have seen this power make cancer and arthritis completely disappear from people's bodies.

I have seen it transform children with learning difficulties and sleeping problems into peaceful intelligent, happy kids.

I have seen it do many incredible, wonderful things in relationships, and every area of life. I believe this power controls the world, and I believe it exists for the benefit of mankind.

I truly believe it's the answer to every obstacle we face.

"And you shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free." John8:32

Inspired Ideas: How to be open to receive inspired ideas for personal direction

Be open to receive

Inspiration can come to you via various avenues. These may be very ordinary but even the ordinary can prove to be an extraordinary moment when inspiration comes. You may say, “I’ve never seen that before.” Or, “I’ve never thought about it this way before.” Or, “How long have I heard that but never understood the meaning of it.” Or, “It never had any personal meaning to me before.”

Some of these avenues could come through reading material like an inspirational book, the Bible, or even the newspaper.

When you read, have an open mind to receive, “What’s the message here? How does it apply to me? Sometimes certain words or phrases may stand out as if to jump off the pages at you which you may have overlooked before. Books that come to you or other people may mention the name of a book that may stand out. Get the book and read it. It may contain the information you need to resolve whatever issue you may be facing at the time or will face in the future. This may be the preparatory moment you need to equip you to face whatever is up ahead. When you follow your inspired intuition, you’ll always get a sneak peek of what’s coming so you’re prepared.

Don’t just look at the pictures and listen to the sounds, but look for the hidden message for you. Even children’s movies have some profound meaning in the message. Some of which encourages you to follow your dreams and trust your heart. If it impacts you, that’s your inspired moment. Take the information, roll it over in your mind and use it as a stepping stone to help you through this moment.

Inspirational or motivational audio recordings

May contain the missing link you’ve been waiting for or may spark an idea.

Years ago my husband was going for a job and he heard the words of a song, “Hold on for one more day.” That was the message for the moment.

Many songs have taken me through some tough times. I could love you like that – these words had tremendous positive meaning for me at a critical point in my life. They’re like gold nuggets to take you through the process. They may not mean anything for anyone else but carry such deep meaning for you.

Holding positive discussions with family and friends may spark inspirational ideas. It’s like a door unlocks and opens and an invisible third party imparting wisdom to you. Many times when my husband and I are having discussions, the more we talk the more the inspiration comes and the more answers we get to our questions.

When you are open to receive, you see many opportunities where you are inspired during the day.

Inspired Ideas - Another way to receive inspired ideas to resolve personal issues

Need to tap into inspired ideas to resolve any personal issues?

Sometimes all you have to do is just show up - be here now. Be in the present and listen for the inspiration.

When I sit at my computer to write, sometimes I have no idea where to start. I sit and wait and listen. I’m open to receive. I’m open to be inspired. By waiting and listening, I may hear a few lines to begin with. At times, I’ve asked what comes after that before I start to type and I’d feel that I should start typing the line that I received and others will follow. So I’d type what I heard and as soon as I completed the last word other words would come to me one part at a time. I’d just trust the process and allow it to unfold as I follow. It’s like walking in the dark only seeing where your footing is immediately in front of you as you come into full light. Then, the entire path is revealed to you.

Other times, I’d think I’m going in one direction and end up with a completely different thought than what I had initially started with. And that’s okay, because the new inspiration was more enlightening than the first. Just go with the flow and be open to be directed by inspired ideas and thoughts.

When you become too set in one way, that’s when you experience blockages and frustration. Every day you get up, nature always has something new happening, whether it’s a sunny day one day, then rainy the next, or a combination of both or just sunny for a few days, then cloudy for a few day or even rainy for a few days but then it all changes and you get a different variety. Don’t become too set in your way that you miss fresh ideas and new perspective on life and your relationship with others around you.

The 24 Hour Perspective

Not long ago I woke up with a “brown” taste in my mouth and everything started to just go wrong! I remember thinking, “Why is everyone against me!” Then I stopped and thought, “Wait a minute! Not everyone is against me!”

I grabbed a note pad and started writing down the names of everyone that was openly resisting my efforts to just live in peace and joy. Three....That’s right - 3 people! Then I thought about how many people were “in favor” of me and supported me in some way. Double digits! Then I thought globally. Most people don’t even know I exist and out of the ones that do know me and have some interaction with me they remain involved in their own lives and are basically “neutral” toward me.

Then I started thinking about how out of ALL THE PEOPLE IN THE EARTH only 3 people resisted me and how much time did I spend a day interacting with these three people? On even the worst days I couldn’t think of more than a few minutes of actual interaction. So then I thought about ALL THE NEGATIVE ENCOUNTERS that I had in a single day. You know everything from the guy who cuts you off in traffic to the rude comment by someone I don’t even know. I was hard pressed on even the WORST day to find more than 5-15 minutes of actual interaction with unpleasant people a day!

This reality hit me with insight! There have been times when my 24 hour day has been ruined by 15 minutes (and in most cases less than 15 minutes) a day of actual interaction with negative people! How could that be possible? I survived the 15 minutes so why did this ruin my entire day? Even when I was “cussed” and “cursed” the words didn’t hurt me and the curses never came to pass. Everything that was spoken against me was a threat and did not manifest as a reality! How could something as false and “unreal” as a “threat” ruin my day?

The answer is simple. The threat got into my own thinking and contaminated my mind. People annoyed me for less than 15 minutes and I annoyed myself in my thinking for 23 hours 45 minutes or more a day and I ruined my day! Now I have learned to put my focus on the positives in my life and to be grateful for all that I have!

Life is all about choices. Is the glass half full or half empty? You decide…

Inspired Ideas: Develop what you have...Pt. 2

Part 2

Later on our business grew. We had embossed business cards, an ad in several advertisement books. We had order forms, a computer, business phones lines and we built on our first steps and continued to make progress.

You don’t have to have everything in place to begin. All you need to do is start and everything else you need will come at the right time as long as you keep moving forward. The information you need, the how to, the equipment, the people, the friendships, the relationships, everything will come to you.

Be appreciative of what you already have. Don’t hold on to your seed, sow it in the ground, do something with it so it can begin to grow. If your intention is to have a harvest of tomatoes, it doesn’t matter how many seeds you have. You could look at the seeds, admire them, talk about how beautiful these seeds are, or wonder what you could do with them if you had a harvest.

You could make tomato paste or include them in your most sophisticated and deliciously fresh salad. But, unless you actually sow those seeds into the ground and allow them to have a chance to germinate and grow into maturity so they can actually bear fruit, those delightfully delicious recipes you have in mind will continue to just be a wish.

I was recently working on a project. I had all the ideas of what I was going to do but I hadn’t actually begun to put the parts together. As I was standing at my kitchen sink doing the dishes, I was looking out at the garden which I could see from the window, and was just thinking about how our plants were coming along so nicely.

The thought came to me, “If you don’t put the seeds into the ground you wouldn’t get a harvest.” That’s all nice that I have all these great plans and ideas, but unless I actually put the seeds in the ground – begin to put the project into form – those ideas wouldn’t do anybody any good staying in my head. So, I got really busy putting my plan into action.

Inspired Ideas: Start with what you have...

Part 1

It will expand...

Sometimes, you’re busy looking at what others have and wishing if you only have their talent and abilities, you could do wonders. Well, you don’t have their talent; theirs were tailor made for them. It’s part of their package. You have your own. Look for your own talents, your own gifts and allow them to expand, develop and build on them. Your gifts are your seeds. Sow them in the fertile soil of inspired action and allow them to germinate into beautiful seedlings and to maturity to bear fruit.

You have all you need at the point where you are. Don’t criticize your gifts because they’re not bearing fruit or because you don’t see the full potential just yet. Your gifts have unlimited possibilities if you only get into the mindset to open up those possibilities. No one ever criticizes the size of a mustard seed or any seed. You never judge or criticize the size of a mustard seed or any other seed because you know when it is sown, watered and nurtured, it will grow into a massive tree.

Many years ago when we started our first business, it was in the designing field. We were determined to get it off the ground. So we scraped together what money we had saved to purchase the business license. We couldn’t even afford business cards at the time, we used strips of paper which we typed up our contact information and nicely cut out the pieces of paper and distributed them and showed off our product.

We'll do Part 2 tomorrow

Feel free to leave your comments

Need inspired ideas?

Relax and center yourself

Inspiration comes all the time but the only way you can actually tap in to it is when you relax and center yourself and allow it to flow.

Close your eyes and take a deep breath. When you release the tension, you free yourself from entanglement and you can now receive inspired ideas.

Use visualization - see yourself inhaling tranquility and exhaling all tension. Inhale fresh new ideas and exhale what you don’t need, tension and frustration. Enter into a place of inner peace. You do this every day when you breathe in; you’re taking in oxygen for your body. Your body uses this oxygen.

As you exhale, you breathe out carbon dioxide which is waste. You keep what is good and release what is not beneficial to you. Similarly, you breathe in oxygen – life, calmness, so you can experience peace. You exhale carbon dioxide releasing tension and frustration into the atmosphere so this energy could be recycled on the energy matrix – like plants need carbon dioxide as part of their means of food creation through the process of photosynthesis.

This release and eliminates tension so you can fully function in a state of peace which opens up the door for creativity and inspired ideas to flow and expand.

One day when we were camping, we tied the leashes of our dogs, Moses and Chief to a tree. While they were both playing they became entangled. I tried to untangle them but they kept on playing and as they played they became even more entangled. It was only when I sat them down, made them relax, was I able to untangle their leashes and free them.

When you’re tangled in frustration, you’re setting up blockers from receiving your flow of inspired ideas. You are the river bed and once you’ve cleared the debris or the blockers from damming up this fresh continuous flowing supply, inspired ideas flow through you easily and naturally, like water in a river.

Make everyday thanksgiving

Even though this time has been set aside to celebrate Thanksgiving collectively, we need to have a heart of Thanksgiving every day of our lives.

As we cherish each moment and each of our life experiences, we learn to appreciate everyone that comes into our lives. When we make a conscious decision to look at life from a positive angle, we influence and recreate our future by the positive emotions we emit which draw back to us a mirrored reflection of our hearts. The emotion of thankfulness and gratitude puts us into a state of positive vibes in turn attracting more positive experiences into our lives.

When we set our minds on looking for the positive in every situation our stress level lessens tremendously. No longer are we struggling to turn things around or are fighting an uphill battle which attracts more negativity into our energy vibration but we now align ourselves with position vibrations that begin to turn our external experiences around.

In an attitude of thanksgiving, life is full of fresh adventure no matter where we may be at this point.

Open your heart and home to someone this Thanksgiving

This Thanksgiving is not only a time to give thanks but to share this time with others who have no one to share this time with.

To all my American friends who are celebrating Thanksgiving, Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours.

In October when Canada celebrated Thanksgiving, our family was getting ready to enjoy our turkey dinner. The aroma of fresh baked turkey filled the air, but something else caught my husband's attention. It was our neighbour who was outside chopping log for his fire place. He had no family present with him.

My husband recalled his time of loneliness when his mom died many years ago just before Christmas and he wish he had Christmas supper with his mom. As he observed how lonely our friend must feel on Thanksgiving, he felt the strong urge to go and invite him over for Thanksgiving supper, which he did.

Our friend and neighbour had a wonderful time and my husband took a picture with him with our huge turkey at centrefold.

Little did we know that that would have been our friend's last Thanksgiving. Two weeks later, our friend suffered a massive heart attack which ended his journey here on earth.

What was it my husband truly saw other than our friend's loneliness? What was it that called out to him or drew his attention from the unseen world that compelled him to make such a decision?

In your celebration open your heart and home to someone this Thanksgiving. It may be the only time you have to share of yourself before they're called home, or it may be last opportunity you may have to bless someone else's life. Look around you, who are you drawn to this Thanksgiving to make a difference in their life? It may be the only moment you have to impact that person and change the direction of their life.

Taking the time to love myself - Part 5 - Loving my legs and all of me.

Our legs have the awesome responsibility of balancing our body weight and taking us where ever we want to go - bouncing, jumping, running, or walking. When we take the time to appreciate the fact that we can move from one place to another, we learn to not take for granted what others wish they had.

So, now, we'll just focus on loving our legs and loving all of us.

I love you, legs and I thank you for supporting my entire body weight. Thank you for taking me where ever I want to go on my command. I allow the energy of love to flow through you and energize you to keep doing what you do so naturally.

I love my body, I love me. I am beautiful. I am unique. There's only one of me. I am a unique amazing blend of DNA displaying an awesome combination of my ancestors, despite how many have gone before me. My voice, talents and fingerprints defines my uniqueness. I am an amazing human being. I love me. I am a gift to the earth at this time, in this era. Therefore, I choose to share my gifts with humanity knowing that no one on the entire planet is exactly like me.

When we realize how unique we are, the urge to feel inferior rolls off our shoulders and therefore we can stand tall, shoulders back, head up, knowing that we have a right to be here and let our light shine brightly.

Taking the time to love myself - Part 4 - Loving your liver

We pay much attention to the visible parts of our bodies and glorify them. But the inner parts which tend to get less attention perform the most essential functions to keep our bodies up to par and in good health.

Our liver could never be replaced and without it, our bodies would not be able to eliminate toxins. It cleans our blood, encourages blood clotting when we bleed and stores sugars used when we're low on energy.

I love you for keeping my blood clean within my body. Thank you for storing sugars and giving me the energy I need when I am low.

I release my energy of love to you that you may be energized and remain in good health. As I appreciate you, I will also do my part to watch the foods I eat in order not to overwhelm you.

Thank you, liver. I bless you.

Taking the time to love myself - Part 3 - Loving my heart

Now that we've gone through the process of taking the time to love ourselves by loving our heads, let's look at some other body parts worthy of our attention, like our hearts.

The heart is constantly pumping, giving us a rhythmic melody within our bodies. Take the time to tune in to the sound waves of your heart, perhaps coming in harmony with each beat and create your own melody. I do this with my children and make up a silly song with each beat - the result - laughter. Laughter is the melody of the soul. It releases tension and puts you into positive vibes.

Take the time to focus on loving our heart. Visualize your heart as the center from which the life blood is being pumped through to your veins to all of your cells and throughout your body. As you visualize this, say, "I love you. Thank you for keeping the life flow moving through my body.

Now visualize the energy of love energizing your heart now that you're giving it all of your attention.

Visualize this love energy flowing and moving through your blood through your veins and saturating all of your cells and rejuvenating each cell.

Get your emotions involved in there too. Visualize each cell now filled with vitality to carry out its function in a new energized environment of love, peace and harmony. Allow yourself to bask in that moment for as long as you need.

Love energy is filled with healing properties. Many of our ailments come because of lack of love, whether toward ourselves or others.

Watch out for your energy level during the day. It will soar high. Because you've taken the time to love you, to love your vital body organs which will send positive energy waves throughout your body.

Feel free to leave a comment of your experience. I'd love to hear how this exercise has impacted you.

Taking the time to love myself - Part 2

As we begin to love ourselves, we're sending positive energy waves to every part of us. How often do we take for granted our body parts, especially our most vital hidden inner organs that do so much to keep us in the best of health despite our abuse of them? Only when some serious illness has taken control do many begin to pay attention to these faithful organs.

So, we'll start with our head:

The brain

I love you. I appreciate you for functioning the way you do. For allowing me to express myself even though at times I entertain thoughts that are not healthy for you.

The eyes

I love you. Thank you for lighting up my world that I may see and enjoy the many different beautiful and vibrant colours around. I appreciate you for being my guide that I may clearly see my way each day and avoid bumping into things.

The nose

I love you and because of you I can enjoy the many various fragrances.

My mouth

I can talk and talk and talk all day and despite my constant yapping, you are with me all the time 24/7, never complaining. I love you and thank you for putting up with me. I can colour my world with my sophisticated articulation.

My ears

From the noises of the busy traffic to the crying of a sleepy baby to the singing of the birds, I hear all of life's sound vibrations because of you. I love you.

You can complete the full exercise with your hair, your eyebrows, and neck until you've completed the entire head.

Doing this exercise allows you to appreciate every part of you in addition to letting you feel better about yourself and express love to your body members.

Taking the time to love myself - Part 1

Do you love yourself? It is time to take some time to love you. When you look in the mirror, can you look into your eyes and truly say, "I love you?"

Stop now and do the exercise.

Look at yourself in the mirror. Say, "I love you."

If you've felt some resistance within you, it's time to find out why. By stopping to search within you allow the answers to surface. Here is where you have the opportunity to decide if the reason for your resistance is truly real. If it's not, it's time to replace it with a new truth.

E.g. If your resistance comes back with, "I'm ugly", or "I can't stand you," then, it's time to ask why. Is there some hidden past experience that's causing you to feel the way you feel now? Stop and listen for the inward quiet response or reminder.

Ask the question "Is this what I truly believe of myself now?"
If not, decide and declare your belief, repeating your truth to yourself.

Begin the exercise again. Look in the mirror and say, I love you.

If you didn't come up right away with any conscious reasons why you may not love yourself, continue to the next exercise by repeatedly saying, "I love you," until you begin to feel more comfortable saying it.

The biggest problem with low self-esteem is that many have not learned the art of forgiving and loving themselves. They've punished themselves for years, perhaps for things that were out of their control to begin with and for things which are in the past that they cannot change.

But you can begin to change your life today. Now, is the only time you have, not the past, not the future but now. Begin to love you, today! You'll begin to send positive vibes to your body instead of negative resistance which affects your health more than you can imagine.

Don't allow yesterday's negativity to influence today's opportunities

The artist critiques his art, the designer his designs and the writer his written material - all looking for ways to enhance their creativity and bring out the best in their work.

If we all made the shift in our consciousness and come from the angle of looking for the strengths, the positive in others, situations and things we can enhance our lives and the lives of others. By putting more emphasis on the positive, on the strengths, even in our children we allow them to see the positive aspects of themselves, build their self-esteem and focus on those strengths which overshadow any weaknesses.

If we build on these strengths, even in our businesses and relations with others, the pet peeves will naturally fall away, because we've selected to search for and enhance what is positive in another.

What about you? Are you critical of yourself? Begin to look at your strengths, search for them and let your gaze become focused on them and those shortcomings will naturally fade away out of view.

Release the inner urge to be critical, and allow yourself to be open to the moment and allow the positive to emerge. Every day is a new day. Start with a fresh slate and welcome and expect the best. Don't allow yesterday's negativity to influence today's opportunities.

Check your dominant thoughts to change your life!

Whatever you are focused on, that's the direction you will go. Your words, your actions and even the events of your life will reflect what's within your inner world. Your dominant thoughts are what will take you in the direction of your life.

Let's use a practical example:

If you're going for a walk and looking away, you end up following the direction of your thought if you keep looking in that direction. If you quickly glimpse away and return to your original direction, it's easy to stay on track. But a long gaze will certainly take you off track the original direction and onto the new direction of your captured thought.

Another example:

If you're driving and you keep your focus straight ahead you have control of your vehicle. If you quickly glimpse away and return your focus, you may still be able to control the vehicle and stay on course. However, if you become distracted and start to look somewhere else, your vehicle will begin to swerve into that direction perhaps causing a major collision or land you in a ditch.

What ever is your dominant thought, that thought that is persistent and constant, will change the direction of your life. If you're not getting the results you desire for a long time, check your dominant thoughts to see if they're aligned with what you desire. If not, change your thoughts, let your desire become the dominant thoughts and change the direction of your life.

How then do you change your thoughts?

Begin to think about what it is you desire to occur in your life. Become very clear on your direction. A vague picture of your desire will give you vague results. When you are very clear on where you desire your life to go and you are firm on your decision, you'll not sway back and forth. But instead, your thoughts would influence your words and your actions towards reaching your goal.

As you keep thinking about what you desire, you're feeding your desire with the energy needed to bring it into manifestation. The more the thought energy put into your desire, the more momentum you'll have to keep moving in the direction of your goal.

Watch out for distractions that they don't take your attention away from the direction in which you're going. Keep doubts out of your business and stay positive.

Color My World - new book launch

Debbie Mancini-Wilson has written an amazing book that nurtures creativity, fosters independent thinking skills and celebrates uniqueness! 'Color My World' is a treasure for kids and adults alike as it gives us a clear passage to what is in their heads and hearts.

Do some early holiday shopping today, and receive $8,000 in FREE GIFTS for YOU!

Here’s what Debbie said:
I am preparing to launch a campaign for my book, Color My World in an attempt to get it into the hands of more children everywhere, and I know that you will want to help make that happen ~ especially since the holidays are right around the corner ~ and this is the perfect gift!

As you know, I have been traveling the country conducting workshops, working with children, parents and teachers ~ the response has been amazing! Although I've appeared on several television and radio shows around the country (including a 9 segment series on an NBC Morning Show), I simply can not be everywhere I need to be quickly enough, and so this campaign is my effort to get the book into as many little hands as possible. What better time than the holidays?

Color My World is the perfect gift for every kid on every holiday list because it is both educational and entertaining. Kids love it, and parents cherish it. By the way, teachers are among its biggest advocates!

It is gender-free ... boys and girls alike are fans of Color My World because it appeals to the individual child and helps to build self-esteem and acceptance. Since Color My World is designed around humor and fun, kids get right into the interactive exercises and begin to journal their feelings and express themselves by writing poems and short stories.

In our fast-paced world, it is difficult enough for us adults to get through our stress-filled days ... but our children are also living with stress levels that are out of control. As a caring adult, give the gift of freedom ... freedom of self-expression ... and watch a joyful child emerge from the stressed-out, test-driven, pushed-too-hard kid you know.

As one of my fans said, "Every child should own this book; every parent should work in it with them."

This book will give you insight, and will open communication in ways that you might not imagine, and it will create golden memories. Psychologists use this book for play therapy because kids don't feel like someone is trying to 'get in there.' And, once their creative juices begin to flow, it unleashes beautiful moments that you will cherish forever!

Let a kid be a kid, and release your inner child as well!

My book is available on ~ and, those who order it through my special launch will receive nearly $8,000 in free downloadable gifts!

Please check it out here: Color My World Promotional Launch ~ and cash in on your free gifts today!

Thank you, and enjoy the magic in your day!

Thoughts have a life of their own

Thoughts are very powerful and we need to pay attention to what thoughts we’re constantly dwelling on and what we allow to linger in our minds. Thoughts are very much alive and can take on a life of their own.

Some years ago, I had an enlightening experience and ever since, I’ve learned to disallow thoughts I didn’t want to linger in my mind. I went to my local bank to purchase a $10.00 money order. While I was waiting for the teller, as she stamped the money order, a thought just casually crossed my mind, ‘What if she came back with a $100.00 money order?’ It came to me so naturally and then I thought nothing else of it. When the teller came back to me with the money order, I felt the urge to check the amount and sure enough, $100.00 was stamped on it. I quickly pointed out the error she made, for which she was thankful that I did, and waited as she brought me the $10.00 money order.

Since then I’ve learned to quickly replace any negative thoughts that came to my mind with positive ones, negating the negative effects and outcome.

Excerpt from Creating Unconditional Miracles - new ebook coming soon - watch for it.

Our thoughts create our life and when left unchecked create the life we don't want. Wondering why life is not working for you? Check your dominant thoughts and begin to change those negative thoughts to positive and change your life around.
