Our subconscious mind, the autopilot of our life, is the starting point of where permanent change begins.
In order to create long-lasting change, the message must first be sent to the unseen realm. It begins on the conscious level with a decision being made, followed by the continuous necessary activity, until the new behaviour is set in place.
For example, when you first learned to ride a bicycle, you were consciously aware of all the steps required to keep your balance and control the bicycle. You were focused on the task at hand, allowing your body to learn every movement and with every practice session solidifying the new action and making a permanent imprint on your subconscious mind.
This new imprint is stored away for every time you mount a bicycle. Your autopilot kicks in without you having to start all over again, consciously practicing each step. You automatically pull up on the imprinted habit even if you stopped riding for a few years and decided to take up riding again.
As you begin to create change in each area of your life, you make a conscious decision and effort until it sets and becomes a permanent habitual part of you; you become one with it. That is where the long-lasting change begins and continues.
Fueling words: I am changing my body from the inside out.
Routine: Warm-ups, stretches, aerobics, toning and strength exercises, cool down.
Visualization - keeping focus on my goal; healthy, strong and my ideal body weight and shape.
Deep breathing - relaxes the muscles and sends oxygen to the muscles where exercising alone would not reach.
