Action Thursday - Feeling Overwhelmed - What to Do When Your Life Is Out Of Whack!

Are you feeling overwhelmed because you feel like you're in a chaotic vortex - your life is a mess? This may not necessarily be such a bad thing if you recognize that the time for change has come and you're at the cross roads of a new beginning. This moment in time becomes the crucial point of creativity where you can create the life you truly desire.

However, there are certain key elements you can use to 'make sense out of nonsense' so to speak so you can begin the process of shaping your life the way you want it to be. If you are willing to start afresh, life will yield to you the keys you need to do so and create a happy life once again.

Let's look at some simple keys to follow to clean up the mess and give your life direction.

1) Choose what you want to create

Let's use a practical example. When a gardener decides to take a piece of land to create a garden, everything may seem in order until he/she begins the creative process; he begins to plow the land and put order to the seeming chaos, why? Because he has a direction in which to go. He has a clear mental picture of what he wants to create and he keeps this image in mind and every action step he takes has one purpose and that is to manifest this beautiful flower garden.

2) Do what is essential

Prioritize what's most important to you and do what is essential to get your life back on track in the direction you want it to go.

What's essential for gardening in order to have a harvest? You must first prepare the garden and sow the seed in the ground. This is the essential part - without this, there'll be no flowers.

What's essential for getting you closer to your goal? Put everything else aside and do that now. Take it one task at a time and focus on that task until completion. Then go to the next. Don't focus on everything all at once but take it in bite size, first finishing each task before you get to the other. You'll be one step close to bringing order into your chaotic life as opposed to doing nothing at all.

3) Exercise Patience, Determination and Persistence

The gardener knows that she must be patient as she awaits the growth of her flowers. She continues to keep a watchful eye on her garden. She is persistently doing each day what must be done, like watering the garden and keeping the weeds out so her plants has the best possible opportunity to reach full maturity. She is determined to keep pressing through each day, keeping her goal in mind.

This is the mindset that you must develop in bringing your life in order and dealing with overwhelm. Each day, having your purpose as the focal point, persistently doing what's necessary to manifest your desire, as you patiently await the outcome from your focused determined decision to get your life in order.

Now if you've had enough of feeling like you're nothing, or looking at others being better than you and living the life you only dream of, now is the time to do something about it.
