Are you going through a tough time right now? I can totally relate.
For the last 3 months my family and I have been faced with 'uncharted territories'; first with the passing of my dad in March, followed by my husband undergoing a major surgery, having 70% of his liver removed just recently, followed by a collapsed lung a few days after.
We just returned home a few days ago after his discharge from the hospital and we're diligently keeping an eye on him as he recovers.
Life has a way of throwing curve balls at you and this is definitely a time that our family needed to bond even closer together even more than we have been and dig deeper within ourselves into our spirits to draw strength to go through this time, knowing that we're not alone and that all the Universal power and presence of the Spirit is with us.
The stress from going back and forth from the hospital, making sure the children were all happy and not becoming overwhelmed by what was happening with their father had become overwhelming for me that I had to take time out for myself to just center myself, relax my mind and receive healing and strength for myself.
And yet still out of it all, I'm assured of the inner presence of the Spirit working in and through us and with the nurses and doctors to ensure my husband's speedy recovery.
It is when we face the darkest times that's when Spirit light shines the brightest. Had it not been for our strong faith and constant connection and feeding on Spirit life, I'm not sure how we would have made it through. And here we are standing on the other side, looking back at the mountains we had to climb, and though it was tough and we've come through the toughest part, still having a little way more to go, we could truly say, "Thank God we made it. We are not alone. We are surrounded by a vast power of greatness that brings us through every situation no matter the outcome or how bad we think it is."
We overcame our fears, we cried our tears. We prayed and made new friends along the way; those whose families were also in the hospital, and we prayed for them too. Some have come out and returned home, some are recovering. In the midst of our troubles, we shared our love and our gifts. As our children sang for dad, it blessed others as well.
What tough times are you going through right now? I'd like to hear about it.

It is when we are surrounded by people who can support us that it makes our load lighter. I'm grateful and thankful for those who have prayed for us and kept us in their thoughts and sent us their love.
I look forward to hearing from you.
