Keep my family in your prayers...

I hope today finds you in good health.

I just wanted to share some things with you. I've not been posting as much as before as I've been focusing more on working with my children. I intend to continue to inspire you.

However, today I want to share something that's very personal to me. My father has passed away. He was 83 years and has lived a good life. My dad was not just a dad by title, but he was very involved in our lives and lived as an exemplary father among fathers. He was a teacher and taught math, English and specialized in woodworking.

As a child, he'd take me to work with him. He had a crib for me in his woodworking classroom. Dad has been an inspiration in my life. He also had his own business as a woodworker and built furniture for many of his customers - beds, kitchen cupboards, living room sets, lamps etc. My dad furnished our home with his creativity. And in all that he still had time to plant a garden, made sure everything around the house was in order, helped clean, cook and even comb our hair. He was very active in our lives.

As a little girl I used to spend many days in our woodwork shop and he showed me how to make my own jewelry box which I covered with fabric and gave away as presents. He was a good man and very patient. I will always keep his memories vibrant in my heart.

I ask that you prayer for my family and I during this time, especially for my mom.

Thank you for your prayers and support and I prayer that my life will continue to be an inspiration to you as  my father was to me.
