Lack of Self-Confidence Keeping You Stuck? (Your weekend homework)

If you are struggling with self-confidence when it comes to succeeding to achieve your goals, then this is for you.

One of my subscribers sent me an email asking about being more confident to achieve goals relating to being successful with his studies and struggling with remembering past mistakes.

I hope you’ll use the information I’ve shared to help you reach your goals and free yourself from your past mistakes.

Here’s my answer, along with some resources for you to put to use over the weekend.

One of the interesting things in life is that mistakes and failures are part of our growth process. The thing is, we often look at it from a negative point of view instead of seeing the positive and the lessons we can learn from our mistakes and failures.

If you were to shift your thinking and look at your mistakes as pointers to improve and use them as stepping stones for success then you'll find that you can be encouraged to continue to move toward your goal.

Let me use a practical example. When you were a baby and you first started learning to walk, you fell many times didn't you? Sure you did. Sometimes you fell so hard, perhaps bumped your head, you cried but you didn't give up. You kept going, tried again and now today you've mastered the art of walking.

Here's another one. You typed this email to me, correct? When you first started to learn to type, didn't you make mistakes, perhaps a lot of them? Right? Well that didn't stop you. You just figured out that the mistake you made was not the correct way to type and you corrected it, didn't you?

Well it's the same thing with what you're doing now. In order to perfect your studies in English, you need to see that each error you make is an opportunity to correct it and get better at learning English. Learn from it. Master it and keep moving forward.

A baby never says I'll not walk anymore because it's too hard or I'm afraid to fall or other people will laugh at me. That's a learned behaviour and one that our society has adopted as a behaviour. But that's not who we are when we were first born. So, just remember that whenever you feel like giving up and as you continue towards your goal.

I've included 3 resources here for you to help build your self-confidence.

Self-Confidence - 7 Steps to Boost Self-Esteem, Overcome Inferiority Complex and Build Self-Confidence

Low self-esteem and inferiority complete inhibits your ability to live to your fullest potential. They keep you imprisoned to a life of mediocrity and keep you from seeing the true value in who you are and limit your ability to see the beauty and talents hidden inside of you.

The next 7 steps will help you begin to take control of your life so you can boost your self-esteem, overcome inferiority complex and finally build your confidence to break free from your mental shackles and live the life you were meant to live.

Step #1 - Awaken to Your True Identity and Your Divine Heritage

Your true identity goes beyond your physical abilities and limitations into a realm that’s so vast beyond your external world.

Once you get this and understand your own unlimited potential and your divinity, then you’ll see that the things you have and what you’ve accomplished are only a part of your physical expressions.

You are valuable to the entire universal plan. You matter and you are just as valuable and equal to everybody else.

Step #2 - Uncover and Discover Your Inner Beauty

We tend to think of others as being more talented, more beautiful, having more than us and neglect to see the beauty in ourselves. You are a very important part of the entire divine master plan and you have a purpose for being here.

If you’re struggling with feelings of being useless and you can’t find meaning in your life then it’s time that you stop and take stock of who you are. Begin to explore you and look inside yourself for the hidden gems that are locked inside of you. Turn your attention inward and look for the things that are unique about you.

Step #3 - Reprogram Your Subconscious Mind

You are the gardener of your life. You decide what goes into your life garden. If you decide that you wanted cucumbers and decided to plant pumpkin seeds then there’s no way that you’ll ever produce a cucumber harvest. You must plant the seeds of the harvest you desire to manifest.

So it is with your life garden. Your thought seeds that become your belief must match up with the harvest. Your self-talk must match up with what you’d like to manifest. What you think about most of the time will eventually become your reality, just as a physical garden will eventually manifest the harvest of its own kind.

Step #4 - Believe in Yourself

Break free of the fear that’s holding you back. Trust that you have all that you need within you to go forward out of your comfort zone and live a fully enriched life. Your past failures do not have to continue to dictate how your future will turn out. You ask, “Suppose I fail again?” Then get up again, move again, live again – keep moving forward. You can do it.

Step #5 - Attract and Surround Yourself with Positive People

Whenever you have positive influence around you, that energy creates a snowball effect of more positive results in your life. Begin to think of the type of people you’d like to have around you that will help you build your confidence.

Form symbiotic relationships with others that have the characteristics that you desire that will help you instill the beliefs and character that you want to develop.

Step #6 - Let Go of the Past to Experience Emotional Healing

Are you reliving the past each day? It’s time to let go, forgive yourself, forgive the situation and begin to create new experiences in your life. It’s time to heal from the emotional pain of your past. Yes, it was painful. Yes, you may be still living with the consequences of that experience, but you can still move on and create a better life for yourself by taking the first step – let go.

Step #7 - Deal with Setbacks and Obstacles

On your journey to building self-confidence or come up against obstacles there may be times that you relapse into the old way of thinking. But you don’t have to stop there and give up. Shake it off and get back on track, begin again, try again until you succeed. Remember the saying, if at first you don’t succeed try, try again.

Instead of beating up on yourself keep your goal of self-confidence as your focal point and direct your negative emotions into something positive.

Now if you've had enough of feeling like you're nothing, or looking at others being better than you and living the life you only dream of, now is the time to do something about it.

How to Boost Your Self Confidence Using Visualization Techniques

Boosting your self-confidence begins in the mind. Your mind plays a major part in the creation of your personality and this is the place you want to begin the process of change to build your self-confidence. What your eyes are focused on, what you are mentally preoccupied with, affects your emotions which in turn affects your beliefs and shapes you from the inside.

In this article we will look at 3 Visualization Techniques to help you boost your self-confidence.

1) Create a new mental image

Before you can create a new mental image, you must first become aware of your current image of yourself. Stop and think for a moment; how do you see yourself right now? Write it down. Now, what do you want to change about your current image? Write that down as well.

Let's take it further; imagine yourself as being the self-confident person you desire to be, what would it be like to be confident in making your own decisions, or confident in speaking before an audience or even going forward toward starting that business you always wished you wanted to start or going after your dream career? Let your imagination be free of all the inhibitions. Don't hold back.

2) Connect your emotions to your new mental image

Get your emotions involved. Feel the feelings of having your desire, of doing the thing that you wished you could do. You have no limitations here, only what you imagine. Release any feelings of fear and 'but what if's or supposes'. You know, the ones that get in the way of your progress. How does it feel? You could write these down as well. Writing this out helps you to clearly express the emotion that goes with the mental image and allows you to connect on a deeper level.

3) Become one with your new mental image

You've created the new mental image of self-confidence. You've connected your emotions. Now it's time to own it. You need to hold that image of self-confidence inside of you. You must become one with - not seeing it off somewhere while you're here stuck in fear and entangled in self-doubt. You see, you could do the other two steps and still walk away feeling disconnected from your desire because you've not brought it home into you. Once you hold that image of self-confidence inside of you, you own it, it is yours.

Changing your life may seem like an overwhelming frustrating process. But it doesn't have to be if you're given simple doable step-by-step strategies that will get you from where you are to where you want to be and experience a transformed life.

If you are looking for a simple step by step process to use visualization to boost your self-confidence, then I have something that will provide the solution you need when you visit

Displaying Self Confidence - Stop the Voices in Your Head Telling You You're Nothing

Do you believe the lie that comes from the negative voices in your head telling you you're nothing? How have these voices influenced your self-confidence? Every time you think about moving forward to living your dreams these voices seem to put in their two-cents worth and sabotage any progress you try to make to break free of them.

You know, you can stop them right in their tracks. You can silence them. You don't have to continue listening.

Here's some help you can begin to apply right now to stop those annoying voices in your head telling you you're nothing so you can build and display self-confidence.

Believe that you have something valuable to offer

You are not here by accident. You have a purpose to fulfill in your time here on planet earth. And because of this what you have to offer is valuable - your experiences, your talents, your personality - all have a place to enrich, not only your life but the life of others around you. When you accept this you begin to see your own worth. Your whole outlook on life and what you do begins to change and your life now has a mission, a purpose, a direction.

As you live from this mindset you'll be able to push pass any negative input from the old tapes in your head.

Change the image you see of yourself

When you think about you, what comes to mind? Is it positive or are you putting yourself down? Change that image. The image you see in your imagination begins the creative process of your outer expression. To help you create a different image think of the qualities you'd like to manifest in your own life. Now think of someone you know who possesses these qualities. Instead of seeing that person put yourself in that person's place and see you as being the person with these qualities. Now own them.

Stop those voices with your affirmations

Use powerful affirmations to answer the voices in your head. Sometimes you may need to get vocal because the voices can be very persistent. But when you create affirmations in support of your worth and you stand by them, repeating them as often as needed, you'll find that the voice of your affirmations begin to get stronger and stronger.

What affirmation can you create right now? Go ahead and write it down. Here's one, "I am connected to the Great Universal power therefore I have value. I am unique. There's no one like me." That was simple wasn't it? Whatever those voices say that you can't do just change it to the affirmative and say that you can.

And now I invite you to claim your FREE instant access to the 'what, why and how to' create your own affirmations, use visualizations and vision boards so you can build your self-confidence and recreate your life. Go to: http://www.changinginsideoutnow.com/freechapter

Getting My Body Back Friday - Are You Confident In Your Own Skin?

Has your confidence been shaken because of being overweight? It's time to take control and regain your self-confidence where you are right now.

For years I've been self-conscious because of my weight - you know, pulling my tummy in to make it look flatter, dressing in darker colours to hide the flaws. These in themselves are not all that bad and you should always try to look your best but for the right reasons and with the right mindset.

Is your being overweight affecting your interaction with others? Are you afraid to be seen in public? Then your self-confidence has been shaken. I'm not saying that you should stay where you are at an unhealthy weight, not at all. You should always be working toward reaching your goal but accepting yourself as you are right now on your journey to your ideal weight can boost your health and energy level and keep you from falling into a depressive state because of being overweight.

You can become comfortable in your own skin and loving every inch of you in the process. When you love someone don't you want to take care of them, do the best you can to help them and find a way to do so even if you don't see how right away?

The same mindset applies to your own body. You can comfortably love you; care enough to help your own body reach its ideal goal. Beating up on yourself is not being kind or loving and that behaviour is counter-productive to what you're trying to achieve.

What can you do right now?

1) Come out of hiding

Appreciate who you are, not because of your weight, you are much more than that, but because of your connection to the All-in-all, the Great Universal Spirit. Why? Because when you get to your ideal weight there may be more physical flaws that you may encounter, what then?

2) Walk boldly

Lift your head up. You've nothing to be ashamed of. Square your shoulders back and walk boldly and confidently. The energy you give off transmits to others around you. Embrace the energy of joy, of acceptance of you and who you are and allow others to bask in the warmth of your positive vibes.

3) Release your weight anxiety

Let go of the stress that comes with being overweight, the anxiety of wanting to lose weight - these are counter-productive. It is only when I shifted my attention from weight loss to having fun and being strong that I began to release the excess weight.

Find something in your workout on your journey that brings you great joy in this path and keep on in that direction. Keep enhancing the process as you go along and be comfortable in your own skin.

Overcome Inferiority Complex – How to Take Control of your Mind to Overcome Inferiority Complex and Build Self-Confidence

Change takes place in your mind and as you learn to take control of your mind will you be able to overcome inferiority complex and begin on the path to build self-confidence. You may have heard it said that your mind is a battle field. But the victory of this battle is also in your mind as well. And once you know how to master your mind, you’ll begin to master your life and your experiences.

Steps to take control of your mind

1) Understand the power of your thoughts

When you understand that your thoughts create your reality, you’ll find that you have a place to begin to take control of your mind by taking responsibility for your thoughts and be able to control them. Your thoughts lead to actions and actions lead to materializing your desire in your outward reality.

2) Change your predominant thoughts

Your predominant thought habits of low self worth, feelings of not good enough and fear can be replaced with thoughts of deserving, being good enough, courage and self-confidence. Defy the false voices in your head by shifting your mind onto the positive you desire to experience. Instead of listening to thoughts and ideas of feeling worthless, good-for-nothing and fear, shift your thoughts onto those of you being courageous in the face of fearful situations and on to thoughts of you being confident when you would normally feel intimidated.

3) Remember your truth

What is the truth about you? Not what others have put on you as their truth for you but your truth, the truth of who you are and life you desire to express? Believe your truth of freedom, of abundance, of worthiness, and of being able to accomplish anything you set your mind to. Fill your mind with your truth and the light of truth will dispel the darkness of falsehood bringing you to a brighter place in your life.

4) Use visualization

Our brain communicates in pictures. So the more you use your imagination to visualize yourself being bold and confident, the more you’ll develop confidence as a habit and lifestyle. Take control of your thoughts by visualizing yourself in the place you desire to be – seeing the good that you desire happening to you, beginning to approve of yourself and not waiting for or craving after the approval of others.

5) Use affirmations

Affirmations are very powerful tools to reprogram the mind when used correctly. Repetition of your affirmations of self-confidence begins the mindset reprogramming process and activates the law of growth to take place to produce the fruit of self-confidence.
