Self-Confidence - 7 Steps to Boost Self-Esteem, Overcome Inferiority Complex and Build Self-Confidence

Low self-esteem and inferiority complete inhibits your ability to live to your fullest potential. They keep you imprisoned to a life of mediocrity and keep you from seeing the true value in who you are and limit your ability to see the beauty and talents hidden inside of you.

The next 7 steps will help you begin to take control of your life so you can boost your self-esteem, overcome inferiority complex and finally build your confidence to break free from your mental shackles and live the life you were meant to live.

Step #1 - Awaken to Your True Identity and Your Divine Heritage

Your true identity goes beyond your physical abilities and limitations into a realm that’s so vast beyond your external world.

Once you get this and understand your own unlimited potential and your divinity, then you’ll see that the things you have and what you’ve accomplished are only a part of your physical expressions.

You are valuable to the entire universal plan. You matter and you are just as valuable and equal to everybody else.

Step #2 - Uncover and Discover Your Inner Beauty

We tend to think of others as being more talented, more beautiful, having more than us and neglect to see the beauty in ourselves. You are a very important part of the entire divine master plan and you have a purpose for being here.

If you’re struggling with feelings of being useless and you can’t find meaning in your life then it’s time that you stop and take stock of who you are. Begin to explore you and look inside yourself for the hidden gems that are locked inside of you. Turn your attention inward and look for the things that are unique about you.

Step #3 - Reprogram Your Subconscious Mind

You are the gardener of your life. You decide what goes into your life garden. If you decide that you wanted cucumbers and decided to plant pumpkin seeds then there’s no way that you’ll ever produce a cucumber harvest. You must plant the seeds of the harvest you desire to manifest.

So it is with your life garden. Your thought seeds that become your belief must match up with the harvest. Your self-talk must match up with what you’d like to manifest. What you think about most of the time will eventually become your reality, just as a physical garden will eventually manifest the harvest of its own kind.

Step #4 - Believe in Yourself

Break free of the fear that’s holding you back. Trust that you have all that you need within you to go forward out of your comfort zone and live a fully enriched life. Your past failures do not have to continue to dictate how your future will turn out. You ask, “Suppose I fail again?” Then get up again, move again, live again – keep moving forward. You can do it.

Step #5 - Attract and Surround Yourself with Positive People

Whenever you have positive influence around you, that energy creates a snowball effect of more positive results in your life. Begin to think of the type of people you’d like to have around you that will help you build your confidence.

Form symbiotic relationships with others that have the characteristics that you desire that will help you instill the beliefs and character that you want to develop.

Step #6 - Let Go of the Past to Experience Emotional Healing

Are you reliving the past each day? It’s time to let go, forgive yourself, forgive the situation and begin to create new experiences in your life. It’s time to heal from the emotional pain of your past. Yes, it was painful. Yes, you may be still living with the consequences of that experience, but you can still move on and create a better life for yourself by taking the first step – let go.

Step #7 - Deal with Setbacks and Obstacles

On your journey to building self-confidence or come up against obstacles there may be times that you relapse into the old way of thinking. But you don’t have to stop there and give up. Shake it off and get back on track, begin again, try again until you succeed. Remember the saying, if at first you don’t succeed try, try again.

Instead of beating up on yourself keep your goal of self-confidence as your focal point and direct your negative emotions into something positive.

Now if you've had enough of feeling like you're nothing, or looking at others being better than you and living the life you only dream of, now is the time to do something about it.

Building Self Esteem - How to Overcome an Inferiority Complex

Inferiority complex comes as a result of the thoughts and ideas you've accepted as your own. Whatever your parents, friends, family or society have said is the accepted belief somewhere along the line you've concluded that that's who you are or who you're not, and as a result of comparing yourself to others you've devalued your own worth. How can you change this?

Understand your own self-worth

You've got to stop and take stock of who you are and of your own value. What do you have to contribute to the positive progression of enriching the lives of others around you? A business may take inventory of their stock, making note of what they have and what they need to add to their in-house supply.

You need to take stock of your own strengths; what do you do that's different from others? You've got your own style of doing things, why should you diminish your value because someone does it another way?

Stop buying into other people's belief of you

People's opinion can change at anytime depending on their moods, what kind of day they're having or based on their past experiences which have nothing to do with you. What's more important is that you look into your own beliefs about who you are. It's not the beliefs of others that change you; it's your own beliefs that shape you from the inside into the person you are right now.

You can choose to accept and believe different things about yourself and stop buying into other people's beliefs of you. You create your own life and now that you know that, what would you create? Who would you be? Who are you becoming or choosing to become?

No need to feel inferiority to others if you're not trying to measure up to their standard of living. The problems come in when you're always trying to fit into other people's idea of who you should be and find that you've fallen short each and every time.

Change the old tapes in your head

Are you constantly hearing the, 'You're not good enough, you'll never amount to anything, you're worthless, you'll always be a low-life', when you're trying to move ahead in life? Sounds familiar? It's time to stop the old tapes in your head and add a new recording. Yes, this will take some working on. After all, you've been listening to these negative sounds for a long time.

But if you set your intention to change and create a new life and self-image it will work for you as you give yourself time to change. Create new affirmations and keep repeating them each day as often as necessary to begin the reprogramming process of your subconscious mind.

Changing your life may seem like an overwhelming frustrating process. But it doesn't have to be if you're given simple doable step-by-step strategies that will get you from where you are to where you want to be and experience a transformed life.

If you are looking for a simple step by step process to use visualization to boost your self-confidence, then I have something that will provide the solution you need when you visit

Action Thursday - 4 Action Steps to Change Your Thinking & Overcome Inferiority Complex

You can overcome inferiority complex when you change the way you look at things and allow that change to take root deep within your subconscious.

Practice these 4 action steps to change your thinking.

Action Step #1 - Do a self-analysis

Being aware of the area you feel inferiority positions you to take the next step. A self-analysis uncovers those areas in which you feel inferior, allows you to become more conscious of your own behaviour and those things that trigger your behaviour.

You ask questions like, "What's making me feel like I'm not good enough? How can I get better at this? Why do I always need someone else's approval of me? Why do I have a negative self-image? Do I like myself? Am I confident in who I am and if not why not?"

Begin to observe yourself and ask questions so you can get clear on what's happening in your mind and what behaviour follows as a result of your thinking.

Action Step #2 - Change how you see yourself

We often use comparison as the measuring stick to determine our worth. If this one does this then I'm not so bad then, or if one is good at that and I'm not, then I'm a failure or I'm not good enough. We form our entire identity based on this comparison measurement and therefore devalue our worth.

Your external accomplishment or non-accomplishments do not have the final say of who you are and of your worth. Do you judge a baby's worth based on his/her accomplishments? No, but the value of that child is priceless. Are we to say our value diminishes as we grow older? I think not! You are a priceless and irreplaceable being regardless of your age. See yourself as such.

Action Step #3 - Visualize yourself as the person you chose to be

When you think about you what do you see? What are your eyes filled with - limitations, feeling not good enough, failure? You know the saying, "What you see is what you get." Shift your eyes over to seeing yourself being deserving and good enough as others. See yourself as confident in your own skin. Approve of yourself.

Action Step #4 - Create and use affirmations to reprogram your subconscious thinking patterns

Whatever you've been seeing yourself as, you've been affirming and accepting that as who you are. It's time to recreate and reprogram you. Create affirmations around the person you choose to express. You could say things like, "I'm good enough. I approve of me. I'm getting better each day.

Affirmations by themselves will not work. You must feel them, own them, accept them and allow the reprogramming process to work within you.

And now I invite you to claim your FREE instant access to the 'what, why and how to' create your own affirmations, use visualizations and vision boards so you can build your self-confidence and recreate your life. Go to:

Finally, a Spiritual Solution to Overcome Inferiority Complex

For every issue we ever face, there's a spiritual solution for its resolution. Our experiences come about as a result of what's happening internally. How you're thinking and feeling plays a major part in what you're manifesting in your life - the outer experience being the mirrored image of your inner life.

So let's look at 3 segments to the spiritual solution to Overcome Inferiority Complex.

Segment #1 - Identify the Universal Power Source

There's a universal power that governs all life. Everything we see around us is connected and energized by One Universal Power that comes from the Great Universal Spirit. This power comes from Unconditional Love that grows and nourishes all.

When you recognize that this power controls all that exists and all that will come into physical existence, then you begin to understand the grand scope of this vast life which cannot be contained, which is limitless and has no boundaries.

Segment #2 - Understand Your Connection to the Power Source

We can stand in awe of this Great Universal Power and the synchronicity of life when we allow the flow of this awesome power to operate in our lives on a conscious level. Understanding your connection to this great power that it is in your inner being and moves in and through you will cause you to think differently about yourself.

When you meditate on this truth and allow it to sink deep into your subconscious, your perspective of yourself will begin to change. You`ll see yourself as being limitless and not insignificant. A mind filled with these thoughts will not entertain inferiority as a house resident.

Segment #3 - Redirect Power Source Energy

Understanding who you are and your connection to the All-in-all, you can direct that life energy to work on your behalf in every area of your life. Those feelings of insecurity can now be replaced with feelings of security because you know who walks with you and is in you.

Those feelings of `not being good enough` can now be replaced by feelings of being a part of something great and truly deserving to be here to fulfill your role on planet earth. Those feelings of not being able to measure up to other people`s standards can now be put aside because you know who you are in the grand scope of this great universal plan.

Putting these three segments into operation in your life gives you the mental, emotional and then the physical boost to overcome inferiority complex so you can fulfill the life you were meant to on planet earth.

Action Thursday - 3 Action Steps to Overcome a Negative Self-image Due to Inferiority Complex

Even though you may have a negative self-image at this time of your life, it is not engraved in stone and it can be changed with the right action steps. Here are 3 simplified steps you can take right now to create a positive image and overcome your inferiority complex.

1) Use your true nature to build your foundation

Your true nature comes from love. Everything ever created came out of love which gives life and energizes all. So when you consciously turn within toward the sun of your soul, you begin the journey of enlightenment so that the healing rays of love’s power begin to penetrate your inner being and become expressed through your life.

Action Steps:

Consciously see yourself in the perfection of love. This is the foundation on which you will recreate and build your positive self-image. Love heals and will begin its healing process within you as you are open to this life-giving energy.

As you sit quietly and allow yourself to be nurtured by Unconditional Love within you, the light of love will begin to open your eyes to see that all the external things that you hold on to and identify as part of who you are will begin to fall off as the truth of love embraces your inner being. Hold in your mind the truth that you have all you need inside of you, the place where Unconditional Love dwells. You are complete as you are. Herein dwells your strength and your power.

2) Identify and disown the negative self-image

You do not have to accept the negative self-image others have put on you. You can choose to change that image of yourself and create a new one.

Action Steps:

Identify the area you are experiencing the negative self-image. The reason why you’d want to specifically identify this area is because you may not feel bad about your education level but you may have serious issues about your physical appearance. With pen and paper handy, write down why you feel the way you feel about yourself. You are beginning to uncover the main issue so you can deal with it and then change it into the image that you’d like to project.

Visualize being separate from this negative image. Instead of seeing the image as part of who you are, see it as being separate and different from you. Now release it, let it go. It is no longer yours. This process you will use as a reminder to yourself that you have disassociated yourself from it and discarded it out of your life.

3) Choose a new self-image and redesign your life

Now you can liberate your mind and redesign your life. You don’t have to remain stuck in an image others have placed on you. Keep in mind that it may take some time before others acknowledge that you are different from the image they once concluded of you. But that’s okay. You are not doing this to change anyone’s image of you. You are doing this to change the image of yourself which will empower you from within.

Action Steps:

Choose the image that you desire. Accept this new image as your own. Envision yourself living this way. And now choose thoughts and actions that match up with this new image. You can’t be thinking that you’re stupid and expect your negative image to change. You’ve got to see yourself as being wise, filled with wisdom because you are now consciously connected to the Universal Supply of wisdom that’s available to you. Begin to think and act as one who is wise.

Instead of thinking of yourself as being dumb because you can’t find a job to replace the last one or to get your first job, see this as a time to enhance your skills and that the right position will come available at the right time. Think that the universe has everything lined up for you and will manifest itself at the right time. Remember, you finding a job or finding your life partner are conditional circumstances and does not define your self-worth.

Are you relying on the approval of others in order for you to approve and accept yourself? We all love the approval of others but when we crave this approval over our own and yearn for their acceptance of us over our own acceptance that’s where we run into problems. You’ll find out how you can begin to accept your own approval and acceptance.

Inferiority Complex – Overcome a Negative Self-Image Due to Inferiority Complex - Part 3

Monday and Tuesday we covered Tips #1 - 4. Here's a short recap.

Tip #1 - Recognize the origin of the negative self-image
Tip #2 - Understand your true nature
Tip #3 - Disown the negative self-image
Tip #4 - Choose a new self-image

Today we'll dive into the last 3 tips to overcome a negative self-image.

1) Use affirmations to rebuild your new self-image If you are overweight or dislike a physical part of you, you can shift your thinking to, ‘I’m beautiful. I deserve to be here. I am thankful that I am healthy, I am alive, I can share love and I have a lot to offer others.’ Look for your strengths and do not dwell on any so-called imperfections.

Affirmations are like seeds sown into the soil of your subconscious mind. Daily repeated nurturing will cause them to take root into your internal programming and begin the transformation process from the inside out.

2) Change your actions

When you have a negative self-image, your body language displays what you’re feeling inside, whether it is you respond to others defensively to protect what you’re feeling bad about or you hold your head down when passing others so they don’t see your physical imperfections.

Observe your own behaviour and as you change your thinking about yourself and disown the opinions of others, your body language will begin to change the message you’re sending off. Instead of holding your head down, repeat your affirmations that you are beautiful. Get out of the old habit and lift your head up high. These small changes will help you to get a better feeling of yourself and build your self-confidence in the process.

3) Use the Formula for Success

Perfection comes with daily practice. The Formula for Success – R=IOT – Repetition=Imprint over Time – calls for repeated practice so recreate your self-image. You did not get to where you are overnight. It took time and perhaps years of repeating the negative thinking patterns you have right now.

So as you reverse the effects and uproot the old habitual programming, you need to consciously see the new image you’d like to adapt to, visualize the action steps you can take right away so you have a target that you’re working towards and implement these new action steps into your life.

Tomorrow, for Action Thursday, you'll get some specific action steps you can take right away to overcome a negative self-image and transform your life. Get ready to take action

It's time to stop living defeated and discover a simple step-by-step process to Overcome Inferiority Complex and finally be free to Build Self-Confidence so you can live the life you deserve!

Inferiority Complex – Overcome a Negative Self-Image Due to Inferiority Complex - Part 2

Yesterday we covered the first 2 tips to overcome a negative self-image due to inferiority complex.

Recognize the origin of the negative self-image
Understand your true nature

Today we'll go into 2 more tips that you can use right now to begin to change your self-image so you can rise up into a transformed lifestyle.

1) Disown the negative self-image

You do not have to accept other people’s opinion of your self-worth. Neither do you have to consult with others to determine how valuable you are. You are the one who determines what you choose to believe about yourself. It’s your life and you must live it in fullness. You can begin to mentally separate yourself from and disown the negative perspectives. Liberate your mind to embrace the truth of who you are and not what others have decided for you.

2) Choose a new self-image

Think about the image that you’d like to possess. You may have seen other people with these same qualities. Take the time to observe them, how they think, how these speak and how they act. Observe their body language. What energy are you getting from them when you’re in their presence? Absorb their personality quality you’d like to image in your own life.

Now, mentally replace the image of that individual with your own. Instead of seeing the image embodied in the person with the qualities that you admire, see your own image, your own body speaking and acting out your ideal self-image.

In Part 3, we'll cover the last 3 tips. Be sure to look out for tomorrow's post. Go apply what you've learned to your personal situation.

Here’s your chance! To break free from self-sabotaging limited thinking patterns and beliefs and rise up to a new beginning. You don’t have to continue living a dissatisfied life because of inferiority complex. You can begin to build your self-confidence today!

Inferiority Complex – Overcome a Negative Self-Image Due to Inferiority Complex - Part 1

Have you allowed life’s curve balls to paint a negative self-image in your mind? What about other people’s opinions of you – whether they think you’re physically unattractive, unappealing because of lack of education, low-paying job or financial status – do you allow these issues to determine the quality of your self-worth and imprison you with an inferiority complex?

Use the next 2 tips to help you overcome your negative self-image and inferiority complex.

1) Recognize the origin of the negative self-image

Where did it come from? Perhaps you lost your job and find it difficult to find another and based on societal beliefs, you begin to see yourself as a failure. Maybe you were rejected by your partner, whether through a break up or divorce, you identify your self-image as being ‘not good enough’ and therefore now carry around this negative image of who you are.

Whether it is your physical appearance, educational level, social or financial status, your negative self-image most likely came from the opinions and beliefs of others - parents, peers and/or society’s general belief - which you’ve adopted and accepted as your own. When you recognize the origin of the negative self-image then you can differentiate between what is real or not and what is true or not.

2) Understand your true nature

This is the foundation on which you will recreate and build your positive self-image. You were created out of love which gives life. So your essence is of true love and light. You are first a spiritual being created in perfection. As you become consciously aware of your origin, you can shift your perspective from the external to the internal.

Your job, your physical appearance, financial or social status does not define who you are. They are all external conditions which are subject to change as you begin to shift your perspective and your thinking of how you see and define yourself. These are your life experiences, expression of your own thinking, influenced by others around you. Change your thinking and your experiences change.

Look out tomorrow for 2 more tips to overcome a negative self-image. Remember to apply to your life what you learned today.

Action Thursday - 3 Action Steps to Change your Predominant Thoughts to Overcome Inferiority Complex

Our predominant thoughts draw the conditions and circumstances needed to manifest our desires. The old tapes that we play in our heads day after day become embedded within our subconscious mind and keep growing as we continually feed them with our thoughts and emotions. We need to change these predominant thoughts to overcome our feelings of inferiority complex.

Use the following 3 action steps

1 ) Conscious self-awareness

Being consciously aware of your predominant thoughts and emotions will put you in a better place to be able to change them. You can’t change something that you’re not aware exists. Self-awareness is the first step to changing a habit. Then you can take positive action steps to create the new habit you desire. Take the time to look within to yourself and write down your predominant thoughts and emotions.

2) What do you desire to accomplish?

Whatever it is you discover from your self-awareness assessment that are your predominant thoughts and emotions, whether they are feelings of being not good enough, other people are better than you or that you’ll never amount to anything, it’s time to focus on what you want to change. Do you want to feel like you’re good enough as anybody else? Or do you want to feel that even though others may have accomplished physical merits does not mean that they’re better than you? What’s the mindset you want to create? Write this down as well.

3) Practice the new mindset

Now that you know what you want to accomplish, this is where you begin to focus your attention on every day. Rehearse your new mindset. Spend a few minutes several times a day to think about, visualize and connect emotionally with your new mindset. See yourself being that new person. Whenever the old thoughts and emotions come back, do the mental shift and remind yourself of the new change you want to manifest in your life.

And just like any new skill, it takes time and repetition until we master it. It’s taken you many years of accepting yourself as being not good enough and feeling that other people are better than you. So it will take some time to create the new habit of accepting yourself as being equal to others and deserving of all the good that life has to offer. Be determined but be patient with yourself.

Even if you fall back or face setbacks in your mental progress, keep trying, keep practicing. Eventually, your mind will get used to the new programming and you’ll get better in controlling your thoughts and emotions.

Changing your life may seem like an overwhelming frustrating process. But it doesn't have to be if you're given simple doable step-by-step strategies that will get you from where you are to where you want to be.

Overcome Inferiority Complex - Understand the Power of your Thoughts to Overcome Inferiority Complex and Increase Self-Confidence

Your thoughts influence your actions which in turn creates your reality. Everything flows from within outward. Therefore in order to change the effects of inferiority complex and increase self confidence in whatever area of your life that’s being affected the place to start is from within.

Every thought has a vibration and each of these vibrations connect with other vibrations putting the creative process into active mode. Through the law of growth, the thought which started out as a small seed begins to grow and over time, as you feed these thoughts, they mature and produce fruit in your life – this fruit becomes your life experiences.

Every time you allow your mind to focus on thoughts of feeling inferior to others whether it’s because of your physical appearance, your status in life, your education, your bank account balance or whatever else may affect you, stop your thoughts and emotions right in their tracks. You’re engaging in the continued creative process and you’ll continue to get the same results all the time. A vicious cycle is being recreated each time you go down this path.

As you understand how powerful your thoughts are you can decide then what you choose to accept as part of your internal programming and what you choose to discard. Those thoughts that you’ve agreed with and accepted as part of your truth continue on to blossom in your life.

The question that you have to answer is, “Do you like the fruit that your life is producing?” If you don’t like the fruit, then you need to go to the root and change your thought seeds. Like any garden, you need to nurture your thought seeds each day with your positive emotions and self talk and keep the weeds of negativity out.

Shift your mind from the weeds of shyness, inferiority and fear to thought seeds of boldness, being as good as anybody else and courage and over time you will increase into your self-confident lifestyle.

Steps to take control of your mind

1) Understand the power of your thoughts

When you understand that your thoughts create your reality, you’ll find that you have a place to begin to take control of your mind by taking responsibility for your thoughts and be able to control them. Your thoughts lead to actions and actions lead to materializing your desire in your outward reality.

2) Change your predominant thoughts

Your predominant thought habits of low self worth, feelings of not good enough and fear can be replaced with thoughts of deserving, being good enough, courage and self-confidence. Defy the false voices in your head by shifting your mind onto the positive you desire to experience. Instead of listening to thoughts and ideas of feeling worthless, good-for-nothing and fear, shift your thoughts onto those of you being courageous in the face of fearful situations and on to thoughts of you being confident when you would normally feel intimidated.

3) Remember your truth

What is the truth about you? Not what others have put on you as their truth for you but your truth, the truth of who you are and life you desire to express? Believe your truth of freedom, of abundance, of worthiness, and of being able to accomplish anything you set your mind to. Fill your mind with your truth and the light of truth will dispel the darkness of falsehood bringing you to a brighter place in your life.

4) Use visualization

Our brain communicates in pictures. So the more you use your imagination to visualize yourself being bold and confident, the more you’ll develop confidence as a habit and lifestyle. Take control of your thoughts by visualizing yourself in the place you desire to be – seeing the good that you desire happening to you, beginning to approve of yourself and not waiting for or craving after the approval of others.

5) Use affirmations

Affirmations are very powerful tools to reprogram the mind when used correctly. Repetition of your affirmations of self-confidence begins the mindset reprogramming process and activates the law of growth to take place to produce the fruit of self-confidence.

Overcome Inferiority Complex – Breaking Circumstantial Enchantment to Overcome Inferiority Complex

Recently our family gathered to watch the movie Ella Enchanted. On the day of Ella’s birth, Ella’s Fairy Godmother gave her a gift – the gift of obedience. With this gift Ella had no choice but to do what she was asked to do, whether or not she wanted to and no matter how bad the deed was. Ella was still very young when her mother died. But her mother said something very profound to her before she passed on, “No matter what anyone says or tells you to do look to yourself Ella. What’s inside you is stronger than any spell.”

When Ella grew older her father remarried and Ella inherited two step sisters. One of the step sisters found out Ella’s secret and shared her discovery with the other sister. They both took advantage of Ella and made her do the worst things ever. Ella knew she had to find a way to break the spell and sets out on a journey to find her Fairy Godmother to return the gift to her.

On this journey, she met the handsome Prince Charmont. Ella was on her way to the land of the giants to find her Fairy Godmother and invited the Prince along to speak with the giants. They both fell in love with each other. Prince Charmont’s uncle wanted to become king in place of his nephew and through Ella’s wicked step sisters he discovered her secret which he used to devise a plot against Prince Charmont. The uncle demanded that Ella killed the Prince at midnight, the night of the Prince’s marriage proposal to Ella.

As Ella talked with the Prince, the clock struck midnight and Ella’s arm reached for the dagger hidden in her clothes. As the Prince embraced her, she lifted her hand to strike the dagger in the Prince’s back. Ella struggled with the command given her by the evil uncle and her own will to defy the order to kill her true love.

Ella took control of her mind, defied the false voices in her head, remembered the truth her mother told her, took control of her thoughts and demanded of herself, “You will no longer be obedient. You will no longer be obedient.” She forced on her will to break her Fairy Godmother’s spell. Ella dropped the dagger and fell to her knees realizing she had been freed.

Many of us accept situations in our lives because we think that we’re unable to break free of them or others told us that’s the way things are and they can’t be changed and we believed them. Our belief of being inferior to others, low self worth, poverty and inadequacy inhibit us from breaking free to live the life we were meant to and deserve to live. But when we make a focused determined decision, like Ella, to break out of our enchantment of inferiority complex, we can truly enjoy living in the ‘palace’ of our dreams.

You don’t have to stay where you are living in the illusion of ‘not being good enough’ because of your status, lack of education or any perceived shortcomings. You can break free in your mind. You can rise up and speak to your situation, speak to your mind, empower yourself from within, overcome inferiority complex and build self confidence.

As Ella’s mother said to her, “What’s inside of you is stronger than any spell.” You have a great heritage of power within you and as you embrace that connection to your power Source, become one with it and see it as your own you can live in the freedom that belongs to you. It’s time to defy the false voices of the past and willingly listen to the voice of truth.

Ella declared her affirmation for freedom with deep conviction. How about you? Here are a few you can start with, “I am free. I live a life of abundance. I am a treasure to the earth. I deserve to be here and I deserve to be happy. It is my birthright to live the life I choose to live.”

You don’t have to stay a victim of your circumstantial enchantment. Break free today.

Thanksgiving Thursday – How to Awaken the Giant within You

Happy Thanksgiving to my U.S. friends. Have a blessed holiday. Be thankful for the giant within.

The giant within waits for your summon for help. It will not awaken unless you allow it. If you choose to hold on the ‘grasshopper mindset’ you will not be able to experience the greatness of your giant. The ‘grasshopper mindset’ and the ‘giant mindset’ cannot both exist in the same space. One will dominate the other. While one is awaken the other sleeps. It’s your choice to turn on the light of the giant within so the darkness of the ‘grasshopper mindset’ will dissipate.

What situation are you dealing with right now?

Zoom in on your current situation. Get a pen and paper and write it down. You are now engaged in the process of dealing with your circumstance head on. You’re not trying to change by situation by ‘cutting down the tree’. You’re going to the root, internally, and uprooting the old ‘grasshopper mindset’ (small thinking) so you can begin to replace it with the new.

Become consciously aware of the giant within you

Begin to see yourself as being greater than your problems. There is a solution.
See yourself as having a clear mind and having the solution to the way out or through this situation.
See yourself as being connected to the Universal ‘Soil’ of the Spirit where all life dwells and through which all wisdom comes to you to sustain your greatness.
See yourself as the great oak tree being sustained by the Universal Soil of the Spirit as the roots of your inner being reach down into the spiritual realm and draws out the nutrients you need to sustain your life in this situation and all other issues you face.

Answer your situation with the voice of the giant within

As you shift your perspective, answer your situation with the words of the voice of the giant within. You can say, “I am greater than this situation. I have a solution. My answer is on the way, I am at peace knowing all is well and all is working out perfectly on my behalf. I am victorious.”

Act with the confidence of the giant within

Follow the inspired idea and move forward in confidence knowing that you are not alone. You have the power of the Universal Source with you and in you. Know that you will succeed and that you have already. Go forward in that confidence

Overcome Inferiority Complex – 4 Keys to Shift your Perspective from Grasshopper to Giant

A grasshopper’s size is really tiny in comparison to a giant. If you look at yourself with this same perspective in the face of your adversity, you limit and deny yourself of being able to overcome whatever situation you may be going through right now. If you see yourself as being limited and helpless, your belief creates your reality. Yes, you’ll find that you’ll not want to look for a solution because you think that you can’t find a way out of your situation.

Your thinking pattern is keeping you hostage to a life of mediocrity. Now’s the time to rise up into freedom and break free out of your mental bondage.

Understand where change begins

You must first understand where change begins in order to create a different lifestyle. If you’re looking for your situation to change before you do then you’re in for some disappointments. Change begins within you and as you realize this change starts with the way you’re thinking then you’ve found yourself on the right track. Your thoughts are the seeds that create the fruit of your reality.

Understand what your outer reality is

Your outer reality is the manifestation of your thoughts, the fruit of your thought seeds. Once the seeds have been sown, the stage is already set. You can’t have cucumbers from tomato seeds. Therefore, to change the reality you’ve got to go to the root, uproot them and replace them with new thought seeds. Stop trying to cut down the apple tree and expect oranges to grow instead.

Determine who you want to become

When you determine who you want to be, you can make a shift in your perspective. For example, if you see your current situation as being overwhelming, determine who you want to become in this situation. I want to be strong, I want to be bold. Then shift your perspective from being fearful of the situation. The interesting thing about this mindset is that you begin to feel the strength and confidence in your body. Many times we don’t get the results of strength because we buy into the lie of being helpless and weak and therefore we accept that as our reality. From this mindset how can you win?

Reverse the players

Instead of seeing your situation as the giant and you the grasshopper, see yourself as the giant and your situation as the grasshopper. See yourself as ruling over the circumstance and resolving your issue. See yourself as confident and strong and your situation under your control. See yourself as being victorious and that you already have a way out. When you adopt this mindset you are activating creative energies of change within you and out in your reality.

Remember the ball is in your court – this is your life and you must play the game according to your expectations. Refuse to see your situation as the winning team and start seeing yourself victorious every time. Speak to yourself about being strong. Your positive self-talk will embed the new change within you as you nurture this mindset every day.

Overcome Inferiority Complex - How to Identify the Grasshopper Mindset vs. the Giant Mindset

No one wants to be identified as being small-minded or feeling like a grasshopper when compared to giant-like adversity. But it’s that mindset which keeps us bound to our situation that we need to release ourselves from when we begin to change how we look at our current situation.

Who’s the giant in this situation? That’s the question we need to ask and by asking it we can change the way we think. But first of all in order to change the way we think we need to identify the grasshopper mindset as well as the giant mindset in order make the switch in our own minds.

What’s the grasshopper mindset?

When you face a situation and you become gripped with fear to the point of not being able to see a way out or even have hope that there’s even a way out, you’ve settled for the grasshopper mindset. You’ve settled to be defeated, gave up trying and perhaps ran away in fear.

Let’s see a live example. You may have the dream of being a singer. But when you think about the going up on stage and facing the crowd you succumb to the fear. You begin to think, “How can I go out to that crowd. I’m not good enough.” Even though that may not be the truth, you’ve decided to give up on your dream and allow the giant of fear to cause you to run away.

What’s the giant mindset?

The giant mindset causes you to see a situation that could be overwhelming or impossible and know that there has to be a way out. The giant mindset says, “It can be done. I will find a way no matter how long it takes. I will be victorious in this. I will have it.”

Let’s use the example from above. The giant mindset says, “No matter how much I may be shaking in my boots, I’ll find a way to go onto that stage and give my best performance. I can do this.” Then despite the crowd, the giant mindset takes a few deep breaths, straighten up and walk out in confidence facing the fear and still press forward knowing that all will be well, I am greater than this fear.

Now look at your situation and determine this, “Do you have the grasshopper mindset or the giant mindset? How can you shift to the giant mindset in this situation? How can you look at yourself through a positive perspective? How can you become the giant?

Whatever mindset you choose, know that one will bring victory and the other will keep you bound.

Overcome Inferiority Complex – Are you a grasshopper or a giant?

The way you see yourself, your perspective of who you are, plays a vital part in the way you act and the experiences you have in all areas of your life. If you have a low perspective of yourself or a low self-image no matter what situation, you’ll find yourself being unsuccessful in whatever you attempt to do.

So I ask you the question, “Are you a grasshopper or a giant?” If whatever situation you encounter you see yourself as being small among the giants, then you’re already beaten even before you attempt to step forward.

You see, your victory or your defeat is in your mind. And if in your mind you’re already convinced that you’ve lost at the game of life – no matter what the label is, business, career, weight loss, friendship, relationship etc. – you are right, you’ve already lost.

Your thoughts determine your reality and the outcome of what you hope to materialize. So if your thoughts and emotions are transmitting ‘grasshopper feelings’ (feeling small), then you will attract back to you that reality. You first have to BE a giant in order to LIVE as a giant. In other words, you first have to be a giant inside of you, see yourself as a giant for that giant like life to manifest outwardly.

Now, don’t get me wrong, I’m not talking about towering over others in order to take advantage of them. I’m talking about being successful, bold and victorious in all areas of your life. I’m talking about being triumphant in the face of adversity and not cowering under because you feel small, because you feel inferior, because you feel like a grasshopper when you come against a ‘mountain’.

You are more than your current situation. And as you begin to see the giant within you and allow that giant to rise up from within, you’ll begin to gain victory after victory over your fears, over your insecurities, over your so-called inadequacies. You’ll begin to see the power that lies in you which will manifest in your outer experience as you set free the giant within as you release all of your inner inhibitions.

Every time you face a situation and those grasshopper like feelings come knocking at your door, let the giant of confidence open and say, “No vacancy here.” Then move forward toward your goal, knowing that all is well.

Here’s your chance to break free from self-sabotaging limited thinking patterns and beliefs and rise up to a new beginning. You don’t have to continue living a dissatisfied life. Getting My Body Back Friday - How to Overcome Inferiority Complex to Enhance Weight Loss

When you despise the way you look especially because of your weight it sends a negative message to your body which counteracts any results you intend to have to lose weight. You're sabotaging your own progress when you habour self-hatred or allow feelings of inferiority to dominate your life.

This can really affect your self-esteem. I recall in my personal experience feeling depressed because of the excess weight. But even when you're not yet at your ideal weight, you can still feel beautiful, bold and confident and not feel inferior because of your current physical appearance.

What can you do to change this mindset?

1) Understand your true identity

When you understand that your body is not the entirety of who you are, you stop allowing your physical image to determine your overall identity. You are a powerful spiritual being connected to the Universal Source and Supply. Feeling inferior because of the way your physical body looks only worsens the condition and sets you up to be in a vicious cycle of inferior thoughts which will continue to expand and dominate your life.

2) Change your thoughts

Your weight issue is the manifestation of your thoughts and imagination followed by your actions and therefore the results you're having now. Many of these thoughts relate to unresolved emotional issues, fears, anger, shame, etc. in our own lives. As you begin to change your thoughts about yourself, your body and even your personal circumstances, it will change the results you're having.

3) Love yourself

You may ask, "What does loving myself have to do with inferiority complex or weight loss?" That's just it. Many people don't really love themselves and in turn send a negative message and energy constantly to their bodies. Can you look at yourself in the mirror and truly say and mean it, "I love you?" And really say this in spite of your weight? It may feel uncomfortable at first, a little strange, but keep at it and soon enough your mind will begin to agree with you and your body will feel the effects of being loved by you.

4) Feel good about you

"How can I feel good when I hate the way I look?" I had to face this same thing until I decided that you know what, this is where I am right now, but I'm beautiful, I am powerful, my power comes from within and I began to look at all the positive things about my life. Even if it's just one positive thing you can think of, begin to feel good about that and it will begin to expand into other areas that you never even bothered to think about. I accept myself as is and loved me. Soon enough, as I kept up my workout, my body began to respond to the weight loss.

5) Create positive affirmations with your strengths

When you identify the positive aspect of your life, create positive affirmations around that and keep repeating them. Fuel them with your emotions so they begin to expand in your life. Over and over everyday repeat your affirmations until they begin to take root. And even after they take root keep repeating them until they bear fruit in your life. The dominating inferior thoughts and feelings will begin to lose their grip on you and you'll feel empowered from within.
