Are YOU average or ultra-successful?

If you had to put yourself in one of two groups - average or ultra-successful - which one would you belong in now? Which one would you like to belong in?

If it's ultra-success you're after, skip the reading and take my friend Brian Tracy up on his free offer now: Download your free chapter now.

Do you know what sets apart the ultra-successful from the average?

Brian Tracy has studied the science of success for the past 30 years, and he's now a best-selling author, sought-after coach and speaker, and a multi-millionaire who lives what he teaches. For a limited time, he's offering you a chance to read the FIRST chapter of his book, "No Excuses - The Power of Self-Discipline."

Stop developing bad habits, stop making excuses and start taking action to get everything you want in life. How? By developing your self-discipline, which Brian calls "the missing ingredient in many success formulas."

In his book, "No Excuses - The Power of Self-Discipline," Brian reveals exactly how you can hone your self-discipline and turn it into a tool that works for you.

Here's what the first chapter of this incredible book covers:

- Your 2 worst enemies when it comes to achieving success - and how you can beat them, every time

- How to become more valuable in your chosen field so you can earn more money and enjoy more riches and rewards

The #1 reason for my life success...and yours!

Many factors often contribute to a person's success in life - whether it's breaking free from limiting beliefs that sabotage one's progress so you could move on to finally achieving your goals or believing in yourself enough to leave your comfort zone and take the first step towards living your dream or whatever it is.

I have found that once you've found that one thing it causes everything else to fall into place.

The #1 reason for my success in dealing with relationship issues - dealing with hurts, break-up etc., building my self-esteem, seeing my own worth, overcoming emotional issues like dealing with depression, resentment, anger, loneliness, building self-confidence, changing careers, starting or growing a business, making decisions and everything I do comes from my connection with the Spirit.

And I'm not talking about just knowing that you're connected to the Spirit, but really spending that quiet time feeling the energy of the Spirit flowing in and through me and consciously making that inner connection.

As you've read many of my articles, I always refer back to the connection to the Spirit because I think it's key to life. It's the Soil of Life. And as a tree that's disconnected from the soil eventually withers away, so it is with us when we're not completely connected to the Spirit.

The symptoms that we see in our lives - feeling unworthy, feeling lost, feeling lonely, confused, frustrated, burdened, anxious, impatience etc. all comes from us not consciously connecting to the Spirit.

As soon as you make that decision to make that connection a part - a vital part - of your life then all these other things begin to fall away. And even if you slip up a bit you know exactly what to do to get back on track.

This is soooo important. The things I've gone through and struggled with - when my first relationship ended and left me feeling so hurt, lonely, small, then picking myself up from that place of hopelessness to wanting to live and move on to now finding my spiritual mate and having a family of 8 children and continuing to grow, all came from me turning inwardly to the Source of my power, becoming clear on what I wanted and decided not to settle for what my current situation or what life what dishing out to me at that time.

You don't have to stay where you are. Believe me, it can and will turn around for you as it did for me and so many others as you use this one principle - connecting with the Source of your power every day.

And I will share with you the mindset I developed and the mental tools I used to attract the life I desired to have in the upcoming training program.

If you're struggling with feelings of not being good enough, low self-worth, low self-esteem and lack of confidence, then this will give you some direction to begin to transform your life.

Action Thursday - Your Success Action Plan - 3 Steps from Cause to Results

Every action leads to a reaction and every cause has an effect. Every tree was once a seed which was sown in the right environment and given the chance to grow and bear fruit.

So it is with your success. It has a starting point like a seed, followed by the growth process and maturity period of fruit bearing which are your results. Let's look at the 3 steps from cause to results to create your success action plan.

Step #1 - Your thoughts - The Cause of Your Success

Your thoughts in relation to what you desire to achieve are your seeds. In choosing your seed you must know what type of harvest you want, hence the reason for choosing a definite goal and being completely clear on what results you want to manifest.

You must now put all your energy, will power and effort to back that thought to ensure your thought seed, your desire, your dream has the opportunity to grow to maturity. You are taking the idea out of your head into tangible form.

Step #2 - The Nurturing Process

Create your action plan and keep the weeds of distractions out. When you daily reaffirm your decision to your success, the weed of procrastination will not be able to thrive and overtake your success growth. External obstacles may come but the most important ones you need to look out for are the ones that are created in your own mind, the sabotaging self talk that comes to negate your progress and the fears that keep you bound from moving ahead.

Just as a gardener observes the growth of his garden to ensure old roots don't spring up into his crop, so you must observe your own thoughts and emotions with the intent to eliminate the deep roots of negativity and past failures from hindering your present success.

Step #3 - Your Results

Put your plan into action. Be confident and believe that you will succeed no matter how long it takes and in spite of any delays or setbacks. Create new plans if you have to. Make adjustments to your current plan and activities, if you must, but keep pressing forward.

In our garden, not all our seeds germinated and when that happened we simply planted new seeds. May be your first thought seeds did not mature and bring the success you desire, but plant new thought seeds again and continue to nurture them. At harvest time not all of our vegetables came in but we kept trying and we keep learning and looking for new ways to improve our results.

Your life results are important for your continued enrichment. Getting involved with like-minded individuals can help you nurture and develop this mindset to create your success, help you to keep on track and encourage you if the road to your success becomes tough.

Success - 5 Mental and Physical Activities You Need to Engage in to Achieve Success

Achieving success comes as a result of engaging in certain mental and physical activity in order to invite its appearance. These 5 mental and physical activities are paramount to your success.

Activity #1 - Visualize your goal

See yourself experiencing your goal in spite of outward conditions. Outward conditions are the results of your dominating thoughts. Therefore, as you recreate your inner thoughts and ideals you'd need to give the outer conditions a chance to transform into form mirroring your inner world. Your imagination is a powerful tool. Use it to keep your mind focused on achieving success.

Activity #2 - Create a plan

You may not know all the details of how you're going to get to your final destination but you can begin with what you know. Ask a question for those areas that are blurred to you, those areas that you're not sure what steps to take. As you ask you are becoming clear on what information you need to take the next step. This clarity creates the path for wisdom to come to you whether it comes in the form of book, audio or from a friend.

Activity #3 - Keep out distractions

Let nothing distract you from your goal. Jumping to another opportunity because this one doesn't seem likes it working out will surely undermine your progress. If your eyes are wondering onto other things you will not achieve what you set out to do. Success is a growth process and you must be willing to allow the process to unfold each day and be committed to seeing it to the finish line.

Activity #4 - Be confident and believe

Be confident that you will get what you want and believe that you will as well. If you allow doubt to enter your mind it will sabotage your progress. "I will succeed. Success is mine. I know I will accomplish what I set out to do. All is working out on my behalf." These affirmations will continue to build inner strength and confidence as you move forward each day. They will give you that added energy and empower you from within to keep pressing onward and upward.

Activity #5 - Reaffirm your decision everyday

Nurture your dream daily. You must tend the garden of your dreams to ensure continued growth. Neglect will surely give way to weeds entering your life. Reaffirm your decision each day keeping a watchful eye to ensure your progress. Your initial decision to achieve your goal needs that daily reaffirmation to keep the fire of your decision alive and burning brightly. As you continually feel the heat of your desire it will propel you into daily action to secure your success.

Getting involved with like-minded individuals can help you nurture and develop this mindset to create the mental and physical activities even more, help you to keep on track and encourage you if the road to your success becomes tough.

Success - 5 Causes You Need to Effect Personal Success

Every effect came from a seed - the cause of your results. Similarly, your personal success comes out of the cause which is the seed that grows into and produces the effects you desire. Here are 5 causes you need to effect personal success.

Cause #1 - Choose a definite goal

You must be clear on what you want to achieve. A clear image of your goal gives you definite direction in which to point your 'sail' of activity. If you are unclear on what you want to manifest in your life how can you attract what is beneficial for you? You must focus in on what you want.

Cause #2 - Place all your energy on that goal

Remove the things in your life that are draining your energy and that are moving you away from the direction of your goal. Placing all your energy on reaching your goal gives vitality to that goal and begins to shape and mould your goal into form.

Cause #3 - Everything to back that goal

When you place all your will power and effort behind achieving your goal - your body, your mind, your spirit - you are summoning the energy of the universal power to operate on your behalf. The energy that's going out from you sends a definite message out to the universe and the mirrored image of your desire returns to you as you continue towards the finish line.

Cause #4 - Keep your eyes wide open

Be open to the opportunity that presents itself that will allow you to take even one step toward your goal. Sometimes opportunities come cloaked in adversity. Sometimes they come cloaked in any form other than what you initially expected. But keep your eyes wide open. Ask yourself this question, "Where is this offer going to take me. Is it a chance for me to get closer to my goal?" Allow the inner wisdom and peace of the Spirit to be your guide in your final decision to accept or not accept this opportunity.

Cause #5 - Be faithful

No matter what the outward circumstance looks like be faithful to your goal. Sometimes it may look like you're not going anywhere, you're not making progress. But continue to moving forward in the direction of your target. The path may seem dark at times and all you may have is that burning desire inside you to achieve success. Let this fire within move you forward to overcome any obstacles and bring you out into the light of victory.

Getting involved with like-minded individuals can help you nurture and develop the mindset to create the causes you need even more, help you to keep on track and encourage you if the road to your success becomes tough.

Success: Nurture your Way to Success - Part 3

Two more tips to nurture your way to success

1) Weed your garden

Consciously remove all thoughts, emotions, words and actions that try to compete with your new garden. This may seem challenging at first because you're uprooting old stubborn habits. But persistence is the key to success in anything you do. Keep at it. Soon enough you'll begin to see growth which will encourage you to keep moving forward.

2) Protect your garden

Keep out garden invaders. Caterpillars, deer, rabbit, all kinds of bug try to invade the garden to feast on the healthy foliage. A prudent gardener does his/her best to keep them out and/or eliminate them.

You too much be vigilant in protecting the garden of your mind from outside invaders that will destroy your hopes and dreams for success. Gardeners often use the companion planting method to keep out unwanted pests. For example, the gardener may plant onions among broccoli plants to protect them from garden invaders chomping on their leaves.

You can also devise a protective mechanism for keeping out the negativity which discourages you from your goal. Hang out with people who will encourage you. Find books that will motivate you. Watch videos, listen to audios, encourage yourself, pull up on past successes in other areas of your life - do whatever you can to keep you on track as you nurture your way to success.

And when your harvest comes in, you'll be overjoyed that you stuck with it. The lessons learned along the way, the growth and progress you've made on the journey it would be worth it all.

What struggles are you having nurturing your way to success? What are your garden invaders?

Success: Nurture your Way to Success - Part 2

Yesterday, we looked at examining the soil to nurture your way to success. Today, we'll look at another two more ways to reaching your success goal.

1) Check your seeds

Make sure you are planting the right seeds for the harvest you want. If you want oranges, you don't plant apple seeds. Make sure you have the right 'thought seeds'. For what you think about constantly, nurturing with your emotions daily will continue to grow.

What are you consistently thinking about? Whatever harvest you want to manifest, start with looking at what you're constantly focused on. Poverty thoughts will never bring you abundance harvest. Also, repetitive thoughts of sickness will not bring the harvest of health. Likewise, overweight and fat thoughts will not yield the fruit of being at your ideal weight. You've got to identify the harvest you want, sow the thought seeds of the results you desire in the soil of your subconscious by constant repetition.

Check your emotions. Your emotions energizes your thought seeds and they are your internal guidance system to let your know if you're on the right track in the creative process.

2) Regular watering

Everyday, water the garden of your relationship, your business, your health, your spiritual life with positive thoughts, emotions, words and deeds. Don't dig up your seeds because it seems like you're not making progress. This action will definitely ensure that you fail to create the success you desire.

Your emotions and inspired actions will provide the momentum necessary to encourage the growth process.

Success: Nurture your Way to Success - Part 1

Want to be successful in whatever you do? You first need to engage in nurturing activities that will naturally bring you the fruit of success.

If you plant a garden with the intention of having a bountiful harvest, you need to ensure that you take the necessary steps to daily care for the garden by attending to the needs of the seeds, the needs of the soil, as well as protect the garden from invaders. As you do these things, in the right season, your crop will begin to bloom and bear fruit.

A healthy garden and ultimately healthy crop does not come about haphazardly. It comes with the intention of the gardener. All gardening activities are implemented with the intention to have a productive harvest.

Success as well is also intentional and comes as a natural occurrence as you daily engage in the necessary steps to facilitate it. When you diligently nurture your business, your relationship, your health, your spiritual life or whatever area of your life you desire to be successful in, the natural occurrence will be the reward of a healthy fruit-filled life.

We all want to enjoy the fruit but before the fruit can come we need to go through the nurturing process from seed to maturity. Then, the harvest will flow naturally.

The next few tips will show you how to nurture your way to success.

1) Examine the soil

Certain soil type, whether sandy, clay or loam etc., grow certain plants better than some. When you examine the soil, make sure you have the right environment for your business, relationship, health or spiritual life to thrive in.

The right environment for your business may be having the right prospects or right location so your business can thrive.

The right environment for your relationship may be to have better quality friends or spend more quality time with your partner to improve your relationship.

The right environment for your health may be to make healthier meal choices and engage in regular exercises to help you be successful in maintaining or gaining your ideal weight.

The right environment for your spiritual growth may be to spend less time watching television and more time in quiet contemplation and meditation so you can become more fruitful and fulfilled in all you do.

Not having the right soil type for your plant can hinder proper growth and affect your harvest. You can create the right environment to accept the seeds you sow in your life.

Tomorrow we will look at more tips to nurture your way to succcess.

Action Thursday - Formula for Success – Using the Principle of Repetition to Enhance your Financial Growth

Many of us encounter financial difficulties because we've not taken the time to closely look at our finances or learn new ways in which we can better our financial position - whether it's saving or increasing our savings, investing or starting up a business.

We apply many of the strategies passed down to us either from parents or friends or those we've created ourselves and many of these ideas may not have enhanced our financial status. They may have done more harm than good and only after a period of bad decisions and careless spending that we begin to look at how we can change things in our lives.

So how can the formula for success, R=IOT, Repetition = Imprint Over Time, help us to identify where we've erred in our financial decisions and what changes we could make to enhance our financial growth? Follow these actions steps to make a financial difference.

Spending

Spending money unwisely leads to the effects of having insufficient funds. If this is a habit, then making small changes in your purchasing habits could make the difference between having that extra money in your pocket and not having any at all. Look at some of the things you're actually spending money on and make necessary adjustments to increase your financial standing. Repeating this will definitely leave its imprint over time.

Instead of paying full price, wait for the sales

If you're used to shopping for clothing at full price, unless it is absolutely necessary, look out for when the sales are on and make your purchase then. The time will come when you will be able to make the purchase at full price without adversely affecting the amount of money you have.

Patience is a virtue - wait for the right price.

When you rush in and pay the full price on a garment, you may later find that the same garment went on sale and you could have purchased it for half the price. Make it a habit to watch out for the sales and know when a sale is going to be on so you can be there early enough to get the best quality at a money-saving price.

Buy better quality

Instead of buying cheap to save money, spend the extra dollar or two. It will save you more money in the long run. For example, you decide to make a purchase for $1.00 thinking that you saved yourself some money by not spend the extra $5.00 to get the better quality product. But a day later, the $1.00 item breaks and you've got to go back and purchase the same product again, not to mention the gas, time and effort wasted. The quality of the product was not great so you find that over time you've spent more money trying to save the extra $5.00.

Budgeting money

If your habit is to spend more money than what's coming in, setting up a budget and keeping tabs on what you spend, as well as getting into the habit of spending that which is within your budget and saying, "No" to certain items will get you on track financially.

Avoid credit card purchase if possible

Don't do - Avoid using your credit card to make purchases you can't afford and know that you cannot pay back within the specified time frame.

Do instead - Purchase items with cash if possible and if you use credit card, pay them off as soon as possible to avoid paying interest.

Avoid the herd mentality

Not because your friends are buying something or it's the latest fad mean you have to have it right now, especially if you're financially strapped. This mentality can set you way back financially. And by the way, your friends or store wouldn't be able to help you bail out. You may not be popular but you wouldn't be stressed out either. Your cool friend might be coming to you looking for a loan later on.

Saving

If you make saving a habit, you'll find that you'll have more money to do the things that you desire to do - start a business, make an investment and it opens up opportunity for more options.

Bob Proctor's book, You Were Born Rich, shows a great break down for saving and growing wealth - see the chapter on Me and Money - pg. 29 http://www.bobproctordownloads.com/BornRichBook.pdf. Read the entire book as it provides great information for you to implement to change your financial situation.

Changing financial habits as with anything else does require some discipline but these small changes can make the difference to create that imprint over time and enhance and transform your financial situation no matter how bleak the situation may look right now.

What financial habits do you struggle to break? What small steps could you commit to doing that will make a difference in your financial situation?

Formula for Success – Understanding the Principle of Repetition

Photo taken by Meteor2017

Some time ago, as I was taking my daily walk in my backyard, I noticed that as the snow melted and the grass began to dry a faint path began to form. Not wanting to create a permanent path in the lawn, I had to change my route and keeping it inconsistent.

Out of this experience came the formula R=IOT, Repetition = Imprint Over Time. Any success or lack of success in any area of our lives come as a result of the process of repetition – repeating the same thoughts over and over and over followed by the action or inaction which begins to become more and more defined and embedded within the subconscious thus bringing about our current results.

Let’s look at how it works taking the path of the lawn as an example or even the path of how a trail is formed. It starts off faint at first but over time becomes a clearly defined path. If a person inconsistently takes that path, no defined path is made. You may see some evidence that someone had walked that way but no defined path had formed.

If the person consistently takes the path on a weekly basis, it will take a long time to become defined but eventually it will due to consistency. However, if the same person on a daily basis walks the path the imprint is quickly defined over time.

An imprinted path shows evidence of a consistent activity – whether good or bad. If you’ve ever noticed a path that has been formed, nothing grows on the area where cars or people consistently drive or walk on. In order to encourage growth again, all travelling activity would have to be abandoned and another path taken.

To change the end results in your life, you must change the path. Consistent repetition leaves imprint over time that disallows other things to grow leaving a clearly defined path for others to follow – whether that path or example is dangerous and unproductive or not.

Repetition for subconscious change

As we consistently create the image we desire, it begins to form and become clearly defined and later on imprinted in such a way that nothing else can grow on that area because it has been well defined by the footprints of one’s desire. This inward practice becomes manifested evidence in one’s life of the daily consistent repetition of one’s internal belief system and self-talks.

Each day this week we’ll take a closer look at how this formula for success can be applied to other areas of our lives to bring about the results we’re expecting.

Think Your Way To Success

How you think about your success plays a vital part to you having success. Your thoughts can either push you to the finish line or cause you to stop and give up.

Whenever the journey gets tough, if you begin to entertain thoughts of giving up, you send a message to your body to respond to the idea of giving up.

When our youngest daughter, Roxella, was 3 months old, she discovered that she had hands. She observed them and sucked on them, as well. She was making the connection between her brain and hands as she learned to coordinate the movements.

Research has shown that babies' brains are very active at this age. If you've ever observed a child, you'd notice how they'd look at a toy and immediately the body launches forward with a hand outstretched to get it. The child is using thought which sends the message from the brain to the body, with such precise speed, into action.

As adults, we've mastered the connection between movements and the brain, to the point that we do not have to even think about moving our bodies to complete a movement. We only need to think of getting up and immediately our bodies respond.

It is this obedience to the thoughts we engage in that allows us to continue moving forward on the path to success or give up. The starting point of thought leads to action and continuous action as we engage in continuous positive thought until we reach our goal.

Nature's lessons from the broken branch - Part 5

Tending the garden of the heart - Day 79

Learning humility

The broken apple tree branch, which stood straight and upright, broke from the weight of the abundance of the young apples on it. This branch, it appeared, never bowed when it was young like the other branches and therefore never hardened that way. We wonder if it ever bore any fruit before and if it did may not have been enough to cause it to bend. Now that it had passed the flexibility stage and bore fruit in abundance, it was unable to bend and as a result broke.

If humility is not learned at an early stage of growth, when success comes, an individual may not be able to handle it and therefore it becomes destructive to him/her. Expand yourself with the essential quality of humility that you may be ready to embrace success when it manifests itself.

12 Steps to Learning Humility

1) Be teachable

When you are teachable, you position yourself to move quickly to the next level and others are willing to help you get there.

2) Take constructive criticisms and don't be resistant or defensive

Constructive criticisms show you where your weak areas are so you can work on strengthening them.

3) Willingness to learn new ways of doing things

When you are open to learn new ways of doing things, possibilities are endless. Your wealth of knowledge increases, and used with wisdom, simplifies your life.

4) See criticisms as an opportunity to improve yourself even if it may not be done with good intentions. There may be a lesson in there for you to learn. Look for the hidden treasures.

5) Accept support and advice from others that are more experienced

This step may save you years of mistakes, time and in some cases a lot of money.

6) Go ahead and ask for help when you need it

Sometimes our own pride keeps us from doing what we know we should do and that is ask for help when we're stomped. If you're concerned about who you should go to for help, ask the Spirit of Wisdom what you need help with and get ready, either the material you need will show up in a book, an audio, online, and someone may tell you the information without you even asking them or it may come up in a conversation providing the right opportunity for you to ask away.

7) Be willing to work with others

Be team spirit minded. When working with others, even if it is your project or you are the leader, see yourself as part of a team. Be willing to listen to the ideas and input of others. You'll find that your team members are more willing to go the extra mile.

8) Be willing to move with changing of the winds

Learning to recognize when the winds of change has come, whether in your personal life or business, puts you in a position to go with the flow and ride the winds with the Spirit. This change may put you in a better place than where you are and avert unforeseen misfortunes.

9) Be respectful to others

Respecting others regardless of their status in life will open many doors for you in unlikely places. You never know which person you meet will be the one that holds the key to your success or your inner desire.

10) Be kind

Kindness always go a long way. Sow seeds of kindness to everyone you meet. These seeds will germinate and grow. You'll want to be at the receiving end of the kindness harvest.

11) Be patient when working with others

Tolerance is a part of the fruit of the Spirit. We all like it when others are tolerant with us. Return the favour and patience will be developed within you.

12) Don't be arrogant. Treat everyone as important as you are

If you think you are important, which you are, treat everyone else as important. We are all a part of each other. Every part of a tree is important for proper growth. No part is less favourable - all is needed, the leaves, the branches, the roots, the bark, therefore treat everyone as such.

As you mature in your personal development with these qualities, when success comes and your fruit comes in, you'll be flexible enough to handle it gracefully.
