Asking Questions and Digging Deeper to Bring Out the Unique in You

Bringing Out The Unique In You

You are an interesting being. There’s more to you than meets the eye. But you need to be first interested in you. You must be interested in digging deeper into knowing more about you – who you are, what’s your purpose, why you are here on planet earth, what makes you unique and different from others.

By asking questions, you begin the process of self-searching which leads to self-discovery and self-understanding. Questions have answers and asking the right questions brings the right answers to help clarify and define you as a divine being in this intricate tapestry of life. You are worth exploring. Stir up your childhood curiosity and ask questions.

Everything about you leads to a greater plan - one that you may never had thought about or imagined. Don’t take your life for granted and think that you’re just here taking up space. Your space in this grand design has an ultimate purpose and it cannot be filled with anyone else but you.

What happens when you begin to ask questions?

Questions lead to answers and answers lead to understanding. Once you begin to understand, you have a clearer image of the whole scope of life. You begin to see life and yourself from a different perspective. Each day is met with renewed enthusiasm. With that understanding you can share with others around you so they too can be inspired, uplifted and transcended to a higher standard of living and life.

So what type of questions should you ask? I’ll give you two to begin with.

Observational questions

These questions come from observing your own actions and emotions. Why do I act the way I do? Why am I feeling this emotion? Then you may ask, “How can I change this emotion? How can I respond differently to this?” You see you’re paying attention to you and by paying attention and asking questions in order to improve and change your life the universal power is able to bring the answers you need to help you.

Transformational questions

Transformational questions come from looking deeper into life. You observe nature – trees, animals, the planets – and the nuggets you get from observing them inspire your own life and give you deeper understanding of living.

For example, by observing the growth process of an oak tree, you see that before the oak tree matures, it must start from a seed. The seed when sown in the soil is nurtured as it continues to grow into a seedling and overtime matures into a large tree where birds and squirrels come and find shelter and food.

You can compare this to your own life. How can I apply this to my life? What does this mean for me? How can this help me change my life from the inside out? You may use this as an analogy to help you reprogram your subconscious mind so you can create the changes you desire.

Each stage of your thoughts goes through a process of seed thought and when nurtured with your emotions and actions comes into physical manifestation over time not only benefiting and transforming your life but also influencing the life of those around you.

As stated before, questions lead to answers, answers give understanding and as a result not only is your life changed but you also influence the life of those around you. Begin to look at everything around you and instead of taking things for granted because you’ve grown accustomed to them, look for the fresh nugget each day, in each event and from each person that comes into your life.

1) What topics usually grab your attention?

Some topics are more appealing than others. So with some observational skills you need to discover what topics you mostly gravitate to. How have they impacted your life? And what you do you see yourself doing in this area to contribute to the growth of others and the planet?

2) What do you feel passionate about? What do you love doing?

Do you love colors, painting? Do you have a thing about writing, expressing yourself through the written word? Do you love speaking and motivating others with stories, inspiration etc.? Are you creative with your hands? Do you love making crafts? Are you an organizer and love to see everything in its place?
Each one of these talents has a place in the enrichment of your own life as well as others. Don’t let your gifts lay dormant while you’re forcing yourself to do something that you despise. This will stress you out and you already know the negative impact stress has on the body.

3) What have you dreamed about doing when you were younger?

Don’t take your childhood dreams for granted; they come from the heart of purity and truth and that brings power into manifestation. When I was about 8 years old, I told myself that I’d be a teacher, work in an office and when I had my children I’d work from home so I could be home with my children instead of outside the home.

I’ve lived all of those dreams. I was young then but the purity of those dreams kept them alive throughout the years bringing each of them into reality. So go back and look into your childhood memory box and pull out those old dreams. Dust them off and allow yourself the opportunity to live them.

4) What hurts you deeply and you wish you could change?

Sometimes our life purpose is discovered among the ruins of our own inner pain. The pain you’ve suffered can be turned into a source of good for others along the same path. Some painful experiences could never be understood by others unless they’ve actually experienced them themselves. You not only have head knowledge but you have experiential knowledge and as such you can better relate to others. Many people have become advocates for certain causes because of their pain. Instead of becoming a prisoner of the past, become the one who opens the prison gates and set the captives free.

Small consistent ripples could make a big impact. So don’t underestimate the power of your small steps. You never know whose life you can change or save.

You are provided for

Our laden rowan berry tree provides a healthy meal for the birds to feast on. Nature provides adequately for them easily and effortlessly. How much more does the Spirit ensure we have all need to live an abundant life?

Birds neither struggle nor worry where their next meal comes from or where they will build their nest. As the need arises, the supply appears.

All we needed for this journey on planet earth has been written on our hearts. If we listen closely, we can hear the inner longings of the heart, the wisdom and guidance of the Spirit.

We came to earth completely packaged with our purpose and the tools necessary to carry out our mission. Our talents, our personalities, our experiences and where we live, altogether, create the environment for us to fulfill our purpose.

In finding our purpose, we need to look within to the deeper call of the heart and of the Spirit. Many of us have gone so far away from our inner guide and have become dependent on the external voices of the world that at times finding one's purpose seems like a confusing task. When we return to the silence of the Spirit, we begin to hear more clearly as our channel is filtered out from the debris of life.

There's no need for wandering around in confusion wondering what to do with our lives or how to meet our needs when we've been given the blueprint within our hearts. It's for us to return to the place of the silence of the Spirit and connect to purpose. For it is in the silence that we return to our place of satisfaction and provision.
