4 Simple Tips to Revive Your Dreams

It's spring time again! The new buds are coming up, birds are busy catching up on their feeding and finally, we can see green again instead of white.

With the winter finally over for some of us and as the last of bit snow continues to melt, we're filled with a sense of new beginning, a chance to start over again. No matter the harshness of the frigid temperatures, nature always reminds us that we can begin again.

If you're feeling like your dreams and hopes have been beaten down by adversities be encouraged by Mother Nature.

Sow positive seed thoughts

Revive your dreams by filling your life with positive thought seeds surrounding your dream/your desire.
Look for a new perspective. It may sometimes take just a shift in your perspective to change your attitude towards your desire.

Nurture positive emotions

Nurture the positive emotions to change your personal internal feeling about manifesting your desire. For example, think about what it would mean to you if you did follow through to making your dream a reality. How would it change your life? How would it improve the lives of others around you? What impact would it make? When you begin seeing the positive and build up that energy it would override the negative emotions coming from your past failure or struggle.

What can you do different?

Perhaps you've taken steps towards getting the results you want but find yourself becoming disappointed. What different steps can you take that will give you better results than you had before?

Are you resisting change and new ideas?

Be an observer of yourself. No one really wants to think of themselves as being resistant. But you need to take a closer look at new ideas that come your way because they may be packaged in a way that you're not used to. Openness to try things out in a different way opens the doors for new opportunities to come.

Want a simple step-by-step process to make your dreams a reality, build your self-confidence, attract the relationship you want or to attract more happiness in your life? Then, I'd invite you to try the Life-changing Map.

Saturday Tunespiration - Proof Your Dreams Can Come True - Do You Believe?

Almost 2 years ago we watched Susan Boyle go from wishing to actually experiencing her dream come true. If you recall, Susan's first appearance on Britain's Got Talent was met with scoffers at first. But that never fazed her. She stood up for what she believed in and belted out her song leaving the judges, audience and the world in complete amazement at her spectacular vocals.

When Susan was asked, "Who would you like to be as successful as?" Her response was, "Elaine Paige." Her response was met with rolled eyes and the 'yeah right' energy of the audience. Check out the 1st video below.

The audience had no idea that she was about to 'rock' them until that first note that belted out from her strong vocals. And that's not all; Susan later on got to share the stage performing a duet with her idol Elaine Paige. How about that for having your dream come true?

Was the journey easy for Susan? Of course not. Did she feel like quitting along the way? Sure she did. But she never did. She kept pressing forward in spite of the critics, in spite of the negative experiences of the past. Today we admire Susan because even though many years had gone by where she wished she could live her dream, she proved that it's never too late.

Now, what about you? Have you thrown in the towel? Do you think it's too late for you? Here's proof that's it's never too late no matter what others may say. But the question is, "Are you willing to get out of your comfort zone and take the risk to live your dreams? Here's another one, "Are you willing to face the criticism of family or friends who say that you can't or shouldn't because they don't think it's possible or you should even go there?"

On your journey to fulfilling your dream, not everyone is going to agree with you or support you and don't expect them to. The help you need will show up, sometimes in unlikely people and events but it will get you to where you need to be and position you for your blessing. Be open and willing to accept the vessel the Universe has chosen for you.

You could be the one saying, "Look at me now. I did it. I made it."

Dream your dream

Tending the garden of the heart - Day 116

I was recently having a conversation with our 7 year old daughter. She said that her dream is to go into the city to find her husband when she grows up. I told her that when she got older she may not feel the same way, and besides, we may not be living here at that time. I also said to her, "Dream your dream, but also allow things to unfold as you get older."

Dad was in another room and overheard the conversation and came out and advised her that the beauty of a dream is that you can go anywhere you desire to and be whatever you desire to be and you don't have to settle for re-runs when you can have a new flick - moment by moment.

Whatever you desire to do, know that you have the freedom to do it; the ball is in your court. You just have to decide that this is what you are going to do, start with the inspired thought of what you feel in your heart that you can do and move forward in that direction. You don't have to settle for the re-runs of past failures and disappointments and live them over and over, you can decide to begin again, today.

You never know where your dreams will lead you no matter what age you are. I recall when I was a little bit older that my daughter that I decided that when I grew up I'd like to work in an office, I'd also like to be a teacher and when I had my children, I'd like to work from home. Yes, I've done them all. It's amazing the seeds you can put into your heart and how they grow, blossom and bear fruit and manifest in your physical reality.

So as I said to my daughter - dream your dreams and allow them to unfold in time. But choose carefully and let the Spirit of God organize them and bring them into your life at the right time.

Are you uprooting your dreams?

Tending the garden of the heart - Day 111

When we first began to sow the seeds in our garden, our 7 year old daughter was so excited she decided to get her own little spot to grow her own garden. She uprooted some flowers from around the yard and transplanted them into her garden.

The next day she uprooted the flowers and planted them into another spot. Every time she planted she'd uproot them and plant them again. This was her way of being active and keep the excitement of gardening alive. She was told that if she keeps uprooting them, how will they get a chance to grow.

She insisted that she wanted to sow some seeds. We decided to give her cucumber and watermelon seeds and made sure that she didn't uproot them. Today, she has a very beautiful garden and had a great yield from the cucumbers. The watermelons started out really well but the coolness started getting to them.

Many times dreams are uprooted when we change our minds from what we initially set out to do. Sometimes impatience has a big part to play when we don't see things going or growing the way we expect them to. Then we uproot our plans in our thoughts, words and actions.

Our daughter did learn that the only way she was going to see her garden grow was by leaving the seeds and plants in the ground and allowing them to grow naturally as she tended them - weeding and watering them.

If we give up and uproot our dreams, we'd never know the harvest we could have had if we just did our part and allow things to turn out naturally.

Pay attention to your dreams

Tending the garden of the heart - Day 73

After the lightening storm ended last night, we woke up this morning to find on the ground an apple laden branch which had broken off one of the apple trees. About a couple of months ago, my husband had a dream that one of the apple tree branches laden with apples had broken off and he took the branch and fed people with the apples.

It's amazing how these things come to us to prepare us to what we're about to face, and sometimes well in advance, so we're not surprised when it occurs. Pay attention to your dreams for in them may hold the key to the steps you need to take in making certain critical decisions.

Over the years, we've had many similar experiences in dreams and see them unfold right before our eyes. Many times they occur play by play as if we watched a movie and then lived the reality of it. Sometimes you may not remember your entire dream; only a part or you may not remember it at all until the moment when it's actually happening, your memory is jugged back to you being in this situation before, what many call déjà vu.

When your dreams take you into an unwanted experience you can pray and ask for these events that lead up to the unwanted event to be changed and focus on it turning around for you. Here you can use mental visualization to create a new more favourable outcome in your reality. By worrying, you are only adding thought energy to the dream patterns and hasting the negative experience into reality.

Paying attention to your dreams is paying attention to the attention to the messages that you're receiving and lets you know what is about to occur in your life. You can make the decision to accept it and allow it to come or you can redirect your energy into thought prayer to let the outcome change for your benefit.

Bringing dreams to life again

Tending the garden of the heart - Day 53

Some of our tomato seedlings died; they may have been scorched by the sun. But we've been told, by more experienced gardeners, that as long as the roots are okay they'll spring back up.

Have your dreams been scorched by the heat of your external circumstances? As long as the roots of your desires are sunken in soil of the Spirit you can still start again. It is not that you cannot have that desire but the conditions may be too harsh, not suitable at the time for the growth of your dreams.

What we've done to save the tomatoes was give them a shady area to catch themselves back, another expert advice. We've left them in shade for a few days until they hardened some more and were able to be exposed to direct sunlight (that is the ones that survived).

If you are determined to live your dream, make the necessary conditions ready in order for your dream to survive and then thrive, empowered by the soil of the Spirit to grow stronger.

Dreams may be temporarily delayed but not inevitably destroyed.

Living your dream!

A story of living your dreams.

As an aspiring artist, my nephew Baby C (Christopher Meyers) is living his dream. It's amazing how time flies. I remember taking care of him when he vacationed at my parents house, and now, he's writing, creating and singing songs of praises. He's doing what he has dreamed of doing.

He's had days of struggles but he's persevered through obstacles and still continues to pursue his dream. I hope you enjoy his music and in so doing consider your own dreams and make plans to or continue building your dreams.

When dreams die

Tending the garden of the heart - Day 52

Our first set of broccoli seedlings died and we had to start a new set. I think they were probably waterlogged. The second set is doing really well and we've thinned them out and set them out in flower boxes. We're really looking forward to a good broccoli harvest.

What of your dreams? Have some of them or many of them died? You can begin to dream again and allow those dreams to come into reality. As long as you desire to manifest your dreams and take action in the direction to activate your belief you could bring your dream to life.

We examined why our broccolis didn't survive and made the necessary adjustments for the next set; giving them less water, put them in a warmer more sunny area.

It's not over when there's disappointment or even failure. As long as you're willing to examine where you went wrong and make the necessary adjustments, always ready to learn and make changes, victory will be within your grasp.
