Did You Know That Everything Has A Starting Point?

Everything has an origin, has a starting point and this starting point evolves from the intangible realm of divine intelligence, that which is unseen by the physical eyes but governs all life, all that we see.

This starting point, the origin and energy of all things have been called many names, the Spirit, God, Jehovah, Jah – different names but the one Great Universal Spirit. And this Great Universal Spirit is governed by love – Unconditional Love.

Love creates, gives life, grows and nurtures everything. It is in everything and IS everything. You cannot separate one from the other. And even though this Love, this Life is expressed in many forms, takes on many different physical forms of expression, it all comes from the one Source. That’s why it is said that we are all one. You may look different from me but we’re all made up of the same stuff.

Let’s look at a practical example. The lumberjack cuts down a pine tree, that pine tree goes to the mill and goes through the process that turns it into wood to use as raw material. A woodworker comes along and repurposes the wood and transforms them into chairs, desks, beds, sofas, benches and the list goes on and on right?

But all of these things have a starting point and that was from the pine tree. Each of these items made still have in them the essence and life of the pine. The only difference is that they’ve been carved with a thought in mind to create and satisfy the different desires of the woodworker.

All that exists comes about as a result of the desire of the ONE – the Great Universal Spirit and the energy of the Spirit transforms and manifests itself in the form of the trees, plants, animals, the galaxies, the planets, the stars, the mountains, the natural resources, human form - all coming from the One Source and being fuelled and energize by this Source of life energy. Each intricately designed to physical express the desire of the Great Universal Spirit. The life and essence of the Spirit is in all and works through all.

With this truth in mind, take the time today to look around you. Use your observational skills – observe the trees, the birds, the sky. Listen to the sounds around you and allow yourself to feel the connection to all. We are all interconnected on an intangible level despite our physical differences, capabilities and experiences. The essence of love resides in each one of us.

Saturday Tunespiration - Letting Go Of The Past

So now that we've come to the last day of 2011, we let go of the past and look onward and upward to a better year in 2012. We look to the Spirit to guide us to see the best part of ourselves; to look for the hidden gems in every situation and live a life totally enriched with the life of the Spirit flowing through us.

Your past experiences do not have to determine how your future will be. But you need to think differently in 2012 than you did this year. You need to choose different action steps in 2012 that will give you different results than you did this year. You need to let go of the things that are no longer serving you so you can move on in freedom.

The change begins in you and you can do it.

Enjoy your day and I wish you and your family a blessed 2012 and look forward to sharing more empowering strategies and steps to help you change your life from the inside out in 2012.

Life Lessons - How to Learn From Your Mistakes

Life lessons teach us to learn from our mistakes. Mistakes are part of the growth process that contains many life lessons hidden in them. How we choose to view our mistakes can make a major difference in enhancing this growth.

Out of our mistakes can come greater ideas, some of which we would never had thought of had the mistake not been made. But often times these ideas are missed because we've focused on the wrong things like, 'why did this happen to me' instead of looking for the good that the event has to offer.

We've been trained to look at our mistakes as failures. But if we were to change that and see them as part of the learning process, the training and reshape of our thinking to fit the results we truly desire, we would achieve a whole lot more in our lives.

Let's look at a practical example to shift this mindset to seeing our mistakes from a positive perspective.

Consider a baby that's learning to walk

Each attempt may result in the child falling, stumbling over or feeling of fatigue. Would you consider this as a failure? No. You see this as part of the learning process - the level of maturity of the child and the understanding of the mechanism of physical balance as well as strengthening of muscles in the legs and arms.

What else is included in this process? How about learning to make the connection between what the brain wants to do - which is to walk and actually coordinating the process of moving the hands and feet in order to facilitate this desire.

What's that child learning? All of the processes - mental and physical - to help him/her get to the final results - to walk. Because the child falls or stumbles while learning is not an indicator that the child has failed and should give up and neither should you. The child is constantly tweaking and changing the way he/she goes about practicing mental and physical steps to finally master the art of walking.

What are you learning?

Instead, look closely at what you're learning now, what you've learned from past mistakes or how you can now look at your past mistakes so you can extract the valuable life lessons they bring into your experience and personal growth.

Look at what you needed to master; whether it's your thought process, shifting your perspective - the way you see things, or change the actions you consistently take to get the results you desire. As in the example, you need to consistently be tweaking your process until you see what works to help you master whatever it is you're working on.

Change the way you see your mistakes and you'll view life from a whole new perspective and empower yourself to go beyond failure until you succeed, knowing that 'failing' is a part of the success process.

Do you have a plan for 2012?

I hope you had a great Christmas. Our kids had an awesome time, feeling quite satisfied with all the work they've put into making presents - our plan paid off and was most rewarding.

Now that we're winding down 2011, it's time to, not only reflect on what we accomplished this year, but also to look at what we could do differently in 2012 to achieve the goals we did not reach this year or create new ones.

What do you want 2012 to look like? Do you have a plan to make this happen or are you going to wing it as each day comes?

You see, the difference between planning and winging it is that with a plan you can see where you're going, even if you have to tweak it along the way, you have a direction, a target.

When you're winging it you just go with anything that comes, like a ship adrift on the water. You can direct your life in the way you choose.

Take the time today to reflect on this past year. Reflecting brings clarity. It causes you to take a closer look at your life; what you've done, why you feel the way you feel about things. It causes you to pay attention and become more observant to your own attitude, behaviour and habits.

Reflecting can be a very sobering experience to help you get onto the right track and on the path towards your goal.

Do the exercise...

Here are some questions you want to consider asking yourself?

What did I want to achieve in 2011?
Why didn't I achieve my goal?
What obstacles did I face and what did I do about them?
What could I have done differently?
How could I look at this situation from a different perspective?
What lessons have I learned this year?
What new plan can I put together that will get me closer to my goal?
What or who do I need to help me achieve my goal in 2012?

The true reason for the season and my Gift to you - Merry Christmas!

We're continue to ramp up the presents here. The kids are continuing to pull up their creativity and the excitement is bouncing off the walls with only less than 48 hours to go before the big day arrives.

The best part of all of this is not so much the presents but it's giving us the time to really deepen our bond together as a family as well, as we continue to work on our massive Christmas project of creating 360 presents. We're getting closer to our goal.

We're pulling up on our creative juices and allowing the abundance of ideas to flow through us as we give of ourselves to make each other happy. Dad and I are getting the opportunity to teach our children to tap into your own divine creative resources to transform raw material into a creative work of art.

We all have great power within us and are connected to the wisdom of the Great Universal Spirit. We have our own light to shine and if we allow our true inner beauty to emanate from within we can change not only ourselves but we can make a difference this season - one ripple at a time.

As we celebrate the true reason for the season - the birth of Christ - we can celebrate our own divinity. Jesus allowed his light to shine, impacted the world and showed us the way, the path to our divine nature, to our heritage, to life. He lived the path that we should take and become awaken to who we are - one with the Father.

Now take this home, own it, live it. Become aware of your connection to the Father, the Great Universal Spirit and let your light shine. Let your inner beauty radiate the Christ life, the love and energy of the Spirit.

I want to wish you and your loved ones a very Merry Christmas.

Thank you for being my reader and for supporting me during this year. I appreciate you. To express my gratitude, here are 2 gifts which you don't have to put under the tree but you can use right away to help you create the change you desire in 2012.

3 Ways to Make a Difference in Someone's Life This Christmas

No matter how insignificant you may think your life or your talents are, you can make a difference in someone's life this Christmas. We all have something to offer another even if it is in some small way - we can make a huge difference. It takes a small acorn seed to grow into a large oak tree. You may never know the strength of the impact a word of encouragement may make to change the course of events in a person's life.

If you consciously decide to make a difference one person at a time with small gestures of kindness, it will create a ripple effect that will tremendously impact your own life and fill you with tremendous joy knowing that you are making small ripples in your corner of the globe which can create big waves in the lives of those you touch.

Now that you know that you have something to offer, even in some small way, let's look at 3 ways you can go about making a difference in someone's life.

1) Look at your own personal experiences

What experiences have you gone through that you know other people are going through right now? What did you do to get through these experiences? What would you do differently or what would you change? What lessons have you learned that became valuable nuggets in your life? You can begin to share your experiences and knowledge with other people who are currently going through a dark time in their lives and feel that there's no hope or end to their issue.

2) Become a good listener

Sometimes a person just needs someone to be a good listener as an outlet to unload what's on their minds. They may not necessarily need advice but just someone to listen to them. And as they release all of the negative energy they're feeling they can actually begin to see the solution to their problem more clearly.

As a good listener, you need to listen objectively - give the person the floor to fully express themselves, knowing that they're not being judged by you. You are the source of strength at this moment.

3) Believe in them

Sometimes we need to believe in others even before they believe in themselves, before they may even see the value in their own lives and in their talents. If you see something of value in another, you can encourage them to go forward towards their dreams. You can help them see the value that you see by believing in them and help them to unlock the hidden gems in their lives. It can be the best Christmas gift you give this year wrapped in the heart of love.
